Work environment has alot to do with why people stay or go. The miller, walters, o'shea combo has something happening. There is a trust among them to allow each to do his job.It would keep me on the payrole.Money isn't everything.I use to make 2 to 3 times what I do in Alberta but I love my work enviroment so here I stay.

I think this could be a really good show.I listen to Troy every morning at work and think he's alright, Walby most agree was one of CBC 's better ones and I've thought Bauming has been one of the better reporters on the Bomber beat.CJOB's show has got really old, tired and cheap.Slightly off topic, a big thanks to all who have been giving training camp reports.It is much appreciated.

I think, more than anything, it's knowing that we are active players in FA that is heartening to see. A couple of solid, not spectacular, FA pick ups .. the additions of Banks and Randle .. we're relevant and engaged at a time where we've been notably absent the last few years .. It's night and day.

Just a comment on the Bombers overpaying or as it was put paying full sticker price.I think there is definitely an issue with this team needing to succeed. Ticket sales could be an issue so perhaps Walters has been told if you want to go for someone don't **** around, get him! It may not be the time to play hardball.

So what happens when an OC with a lay back style of defence works for an aggressive Head Coach?I am kind of thinking that would be a good part of the discussion in the interviews. We don't have a wishy , washy coach any more.I like the fact they are taking the time to find the right mix.

According to Bob on the pregame we are really close to resigning him.It would be a real feather in Walters cap.He's a beut. Its probably going to come down to dollars and a committment by the Bombers to make the team a contender in short order. Muamba is a great player but playing on a constantly losing team has to wear down a players' enthusiasm.True be that.We need to hit a home run on CEO, GM, Head coach and QB. A tall order.

As well there is no reason we can't resign Hall next year if he does not catch on in the NFL.Well done Walters. if you actually believe there is a chance Hall re-signs here you're insane. I think he is wrong about BLM but the theory behind it is sound.If we were going to lose Henoc why not shop him.If I am a team challenging for the cup and end up losing a starting Canuck I would be willing to trade a backup QB especially if there is a risk of losing him.As far as the Lawless hate it is silly.Sure he swings and misses sometimes but He hits more often than not.He can be a bit of a dog with a bone like he was with Mack but was he wrong? meh this team asks receivers to block a lot when they are not suited to it. There is a lot of misusing players going on. It goes back to the lack of identity this team has. They've been trying to run things that they aren't suited for rather than tailoring things to what they actually do well for a long time now. Running plays like Montreal does works great when you have Richardson and Green as your slotbacks, not so much when it's Edwards and Denmark.Perhaps but I thought it was pretty common depending on the play.

Idon't get why people think there are loads of players waiting to come here.It takes time to find them and 9 times out of 10 time to develop them.I think Boltus was a good pick up in a desperate situation.He was around long enough to learn the game abit but really never got his good shot..As far as the recievers according to Burke we had recievers missing their blocks not anything I noticed but then I wouldn't and take Burke at his word.There will be players available after NFL regular starts but lots will hang for a while hoping to get on.This team is in a desperate state but it whlle take awhile to repair.I really think Walters will beat the bushes to get what he can and has a shot at being our permanent GM.

I think if we pull out a win or 2 in the next 4 games Burke keeps his job till the end of the season.If we continue to tank they keep pulling the trigger.
