  1. Thanks! I managed to get last nights game going but in extremely low non existent definition lol. If its working on yours then I know it's something on my end. I will try Navi X also.
  2. Does Phoenix currently work? I click on it. It loads for a second then doesn't do anything. I get eh same with live CBC says no streams available. Some say my wifi isn't strong enough. I may look into a new router or getting a better high speed package if that's the case.
  3. I wasn't sure if this should go in a new thread or the TV thread but decided to keep it separate. Does anyone else use Kodi (formerly XBMC) to stream TV? Does anyone know what add-ons to use to get Bomber games? Is it possible to get Bomber games? I am fairly new to it and have it setup on a TV box and laptop but so far have had no success with getting any TSN channels to work. I have heard they are just temporarily down. Anyone willing to help a brother out!
  4. I've heard Randle makes Cotton look like he is standing still. I hope this is the case. Not because I don't like Cotton but because if this is true we might have a stud at RB this year!
  5. Bombers add linebacker Denicos Allen WINNIPEG, MB., May 18, 2015 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has signed International linebacker Denicos Allen. Allen (5-11, 220, Michigan State, August 9, 1990 in Hamilton, Ohio) played his collegiate football at Michigan State. As a senior in 2013 with the Spartans, Allen recorded a team-high 98 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and one forced fumble, earning an All-American nod, while his team went 13-1 and won the Rose Bowl. Allen was a three-year starter, earning All-Big Ten honors each year. He finished his Spartans career with 54 games played, including 40 starts, and 278 tackles. Allen was signed by Carolina immediately after the 2014 NFL Draft. He also spent time on the St. Louis Rams practice roster, and with Tampa Bay last season.
  6. Other than Muamba, the real sad part is looking at who we COULD have had. You mean like Coehoorn, Iannuzzi, Holmes, Butler, Edem.....
  7. Looks like a solid guy to bring to camp. I echo the statement as to why he didn't stick in the NFL. Seems to have the right size for the NFL and a good NCAA career. Who knows though. May have said or done something wrong and got waived. Plenty of talent waiting in the wings in the NFL.
  8. At least the Bombers didn't disappoint and signed another guy with a hard name to pronounce Sukh Chungh........ I thoroughly enjoy taking 4 months to correctly pronounce the newbies name lol. I'm thinking of you Henoc...
  9. Talked to my friend who was in he war room. Some interesting notes. Wanted Chungh second overall. Wanted Demaki at 11 but knew he was already going to be taken by the Riders. Wanted Richards at 11. Walters had a prediction board up and nailed about 98% of the picks. Guess the guy knows his drafting. Bombers were high on Waud and Shorthill.
  10. We're on our third GM since Taman was here and I'd argue we are in worse shape now with regards to NIs than when Taman left. At least Taman left the team with 2 top end Canadian players on the roster, now we've got a bunch of servicable guys but no real Canadian stars. Agree! I don't mean to blame it all on Taman but from 04-08 his drafting sucked. He signed more FAs and made trades for Canadians then drafting. Which I said is the way he likes to do things but it doesn't really work. He builds teams for the now and doesn't take into consideration the future of the team. Since his departure Mack and Company did a much worse job then Taman which left Walters in a bind. I think if we had gone from Taman to Walters we would have had a better built team by now (Yes I know Walters wasn't an option yet I am just saying if we could have).
  11. I flipped back to the years Taman was GM here and was astounded that we had the following: 2004 - No first or second round picks 2005 - No first, second or third picks 2006 - No first or second round picks 2007 - No first round pick 2008 - One first round pick One first round pick in 5 drafts. And since 2004 we have 1 of our draft picks currently on the team (so I heard this morning). I know Taman has always done things this way but past history shows it doesn't really work. He got us close to a cup and got the Riders a cup yes. But he left us bare and is now starting to deplete the Riders roster. I agree with most others. I would rather a GM build through the draft and maintain good quality Canadians then trade picks away and sign aging vets at any cost.
  12. I had completely forgotten we didn't re-sign Sears. Always loved seeing those gold shoes bolting down the field and being the first one to make contact. Think Hammy will be happy with him.
  13. I hated how the draft was always during the middle of the day in years past and couldn't watch it at work. Now I'm mad its at 7 and I have to wait.....lol
  14. We should get Jawann back as well I do like Jabar though. 44 tackles, 9 sacks and an interception in 3 years. Could be just starting to get into his prime.
  15. Riall Also had a brother who was a WR in the CFL Teyo I think it was?
  16. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865627974/Max-Hall-talks-about-his-arrest-last-year-and-how-the-BYU-family-reached-out-to-help.html?pg=all Good interview (with video) on Max Hall and his arrest/drug addiction.
  17. You could at least change the old Bomber logo to the new one under 2015 team needs Other then that looks good!
  18. At 27 he is still young enough to make an impact. Will be interesting to see if he returns to his former days as a Ticats or lost a step by going to the NFL. Also interesting to see his attitude. Will he be a diva or a team player? And I can't see how Ottawa can afford all these guys and Hank. Someone is likely to shake lose before July.
  19. I want them to Extend Drew just so the headline on the Sun would read...."Bombers Extend Willy"
  20. As do I. I like watching them out there but if it's a home game and I miss 4 of them then why get season tix? I liked last years sch better but I'm not going to complain. They cant please everyone! I'll just go out to the lake early and often and not as much end of the season.
  21. I feel the exact opposite. I only have a few weekends at the lake as it is so I either miss the lake or miss the Bombers. Only good thing is they are pretty late in the season after the lake season. Oh well i'll survive
  22. Interesting Threads from the past over on RF.com http://www.riderfans.com/forum/showthread.php?121802-DB-s-coach-Barron-Miles-accepts-new-2-year-deal-to-remain-with-Riders&highlight=barron+miles http://www.riderfans.com/forum/showthread.php?121350-Barron-Miles-to-the-Bombers&highlight=barron+miles http://www.riderfans.com/forum/showthread.php?113409-Rumour...Barron-Miles-to-be-new-ST-coach&highlight=barron+miles He seems to have been a great coach to hire back in the day....
  23. Miles seems to be a good pick up. Whether or not he is a bad coach or good coach I think we need to give him a few months of coaching here before deciding that! Just because they pushed him out the door in Regina doesn't mean he is a bad coach. We all know how Chamblin likes to control things over there. Maybe he didn't like something Miles was doing and instead of letting him fix it he stepped in and hired someone else. The Rider secondary was pretty solid the last few years under him. At least we think it was under him!
  24. So Walters signed more FAs in a 4hr period then Mack did in 3 years?
