I was remembering when Zach first came to us and the magical play where he dodged the d-line and scrambled around and dropped a bomb in the end zone for a TD. That mobility and escaping the pressure... we needed that.

It really did seem like this year we lacked talented depth in certain areas. We needed unsung depth guys like how Taylor, Jones, Hanson had stepped up and would make big plays a few years ago.

But Zach was the best QB in the league this year. The guy *can* be fantastic but yikes late season he really was playing at a significantly lower level then he was playing earlier in the season.

I think Alexander is still a stud, I'd keep him. Jeffcoat is injury prone, I'd rather the salary go elsewhere. Something something Buono used to cut guys in time etc.. etc...

We just seemed old and tired tonight, didn't have any spark with exception of Brady and surprisingly Gauthier! Need intensity, need youth maybe?

Schoen made the catches when thrown at. It would of been nice to see Bailey with a sweep and a few more 10 yard crossers with Woli and Demski.

I don't think we really need to change much, lots of great talent on this team.

I know we are all charged up from that disappointing loss... but which guys do you think should get cut next season and which ones do you think the team actually will move on. I'm going to assume realistically that they won't cut Zach and won't cut Bighill. Houston? Jeffcoat? Punter?

Are we talking about starting Bighill here? Because I do think that was a terrible decision.

1 - Zach 2 - Hall calling a terrible game also starting injured Bighill and starting Houston. 3 - Punting and kick coverage was atrocious. For the love of god find someone who can kick the ball it can't be that hard to find someone?

Yes, I don't think he throws deep resulting in an interception when Demski was WIDE open. I also think he can run out of the pocket if it collapses giving us at least a chance of a play or at least throwing it away.

I was 100% against it before..... I have changed my mind after today. I'm 100% on Dru Brown / Strev anyone else bandwagon. You can't keep laying eggs in the play offs and that INT in the end zone when Demski was WIDE open sealed it for me. Veteran elite QB's to not make those mistakes. Dropping back and then turtling and taking a big sack at a few points was also awful. I'll keep him at a reduced salary as a veteran back up, but I'm willing to give the keys to someone else.
