I just watched the game on the PVR, those first 3 quarters were ugly. Kramdi looks like Bambi on ice, seriously what a liability on the field he was spinning in circles and biting on everything. Jeffcoat + Willie whiffing on lots of tackles that made a huge difference in the first half. Walker had a solid all around game he's under rated. Mike will be happy that DeMario Houston scored a freebie interception... all while being the only guy who was completely burned on the field for a massive 80 yard TD. It was nice seeing some fire or energy and some seriousness from the guys in the 4th quarter, completely different body language and maybe it was Brady and his intensity rubbing off on the others? Lawler is friggin awesome, now if Schoen can get off his cold streak then what a 1 - 2 punch. We need to bring in more guys like Daramy-Swaray, that guy doesn't whiff and is consistent. TBD on what happens going forward.... I'm glad they ended on a positive note but that first half was ugly as can be. Edmonton really wasn't doing anything special at all and we kept giving them chance after chance. This BC game will be very interesting (or possibly ugly) to watch. I hope they wake up during the break. Edit: Forgot about 2 more complaints... Pru-Crap on his sneaks Pierce on his play calling for the first 3 quarters... very bland and predictable.

I don't think the issue is one or two players needed to be recruited. The issue from what I saw is the whole team as a collective just looked like they checked out after building a decent lead and had ZERO urgency or killer instinct. Whatever the opposite of clutch is..... that is what everyone was doing against the Red Blacks. I expect receivers to make catchable catches, running backs to hold onto the ball tighter when up by a few scores and after already gaining a tonne of yards well past the first down marker, dlinemen being able to wrap up and make a tackle, dbs not watching from a distance as a mediocre qb and receiver make a pass and catch, etc....

Have any local sports media asked O'Shea about the roster choices? I'm guessing radio no longer has a coach's show or anything for someone to ask?

It seems like he gets equally burned on the amount of plays that he does make. Very hot and cold. I said it earlier in the year when people were thrilled with his first 2 ints... he seemed to be on the bad end of several long bombs.

Had one guy stood up in the 4th quarter and just made a single play it would of prevented the outcome. I remember seeing the live odds at one point it was something insane like +3000 , for us to lose that game it required an insane amount of bone headed mistakes. I never seen a collection of fumble, interception, whiffed tackles, blown coverage, dropped passes in such a small amount of time.

It feels like this team has no killer edge. When we have an opponent down ready for the kill shot or putting the dagger in them it feels like we completely take the foot off the pedal and just lay off. Foolish me thought we would just play normal and have time for Dru Brown to get some reps in the 4th.

Crum Khari Jones Bob Dyce Blue Bombers were out coached and had zero effort in the 2nd half. A collapse from everyone and every coach.

**** you Bombers, the moment I saw Willie take that dumb offside on 3rd down and seeing how checked out the Bombers were thinking they had it in the bag. So many players just completely took the foot off the pedal and played with such little effort in the 2nd half. Worst loss I've ever seen and that includes Burke and Reinbold eras. Somebody on the sidelines need to kick these guys asses when they are winning to wake them up. Nobody at all can ever say the 2023 Blue Bombers are the cream of the crop of this league. This loss will forever haunt them. BC and the Argos will have to be favored for the cup. Losing and making Crum look like Flutie is so embarrassing. Shameful.

I clicked the link, didn't see anything indicating the celebration of Canada? I see mainly the celebration of Indigenous culture which is nice but not very inclusive for the vast majority of the population who are not a part of it? You'd think the city would want to be inclusive and celebrate the day that represents nearly every one since everyone is a Canadian citizen and should be proud of the Red and White. But whatever the city wants to save money under the guise of being woke, its just another example of bad decisions that are being made. I'm sure the local businesses downtown / forks are thrilled that the huge drop off in turn out on what used to be their biggest day for sales.

Its a day that we are to celebrate being in Canada. It's sad that the City can't do the same.

Also 1 year maternity leave in Canada compared to... basically 2 weeks in the States. I'm sure it's not cheap. Once the kids are 5 ish or so then it's far easier to WFH with kids around.

What is going on with them? I flew out two weeks ago and all of the West Jet flights were perfect and a large amount well over 50% of the Air Canada flights were severely delayed? Didn't we give Air Canada a massive amout of money for COVID relief? Can we get it back?

With most people at first it is like a vacation where people chill and slack, but eventually the novelty wears off and for most of the people I spoke with they became far more productive. The work life balance is so much better that instead of sitting in a cubicle slowly watching time pass by, they are far more motivated to do actually work since they have far more energy and better mental health.

What if the o-line gave him more time, what if the receivers made the wrong decisions in routes or when to go for the ball, what if the coach called a different play.
