Burris isn't the reason..guys like Matt carter dropping routine passes are the issue. Also the horrid penalties killed them. If Burris had Dressler and any other competent receiver it would be a different story.

I don't really care one way or the other about Burris but his contract is another matter. With an established QB on the roster, all the RBs had to do was spend the money they wasted on Burris and acquire FAs. How many could they have acquired? At least 2, probably 3, and they could have been receivers. (Nick Moore for example) Of course Glenn couldn't have done much better but you never know. Being an expansion team, you have to develop a team over time. They had Glenn - develop DeMarco, or at least determine if DeMarco is the way to go. One or two clutch receivers would have helped. Look to the draft and the next Free Agency. IMO, they went to far, too soon when they went all in with Burris, especially when they could easily have lost all those games with Glenn instead. Coaching, well that's another playbook in the writing, isn't it? They offered Dressler 250... They could of paid for Moore if they choose to. What free agents did they miss out on because of lack of budget?

Based on what? He out performed Max Hall who was light years better then Boltus so I fail to see your comparison? I'd assume Brohm would get the start and would do adequate....

Crompton has better accuracy then Troy Smith and his release is much faster then Brink, considering he's really only been playing first reps for a week and a bit he's done nicely for himself. I definitely think they should stay with him for the season, he also doesn't panic like Brink and will stay in the pocket and take a hit. SJ Green drops a few passes that he shouldn't.... Whitaker fumbles in the end zone for no reason... Als could of really rolled on the Redblacks. I don't really blame Burris, his throws are not that in accurate.... I do think the play calling is the craps for them. They are very plain jane and dont' give the ball to Walker much and should go vertical much more. The penalties really killed Ottawa early on.... they had at least 5 major penalties in the first half that continued drives and allowed Montreal to move the ball. The Redblacks definitely stunk it up and I don't see them doing anything this season.... I also don't understand the hate for Burris and his contract? Do you think Glenn would do any better with this cast of characters? He would be on the ground crying or lobbing plenty more ints if he was in Ottawa. Burris and his fat contract are not the reason for Ottawa stinking.... they need better receivers and better coaching IMO.

Anderson took a lot of bad penalties, Sinkfield dropped lots of passes and was doing nothing on returns, Slaton and Steele simply are better players.... Also dropping salary to make a pitch for Dressler....

Players don't care about playing for a losing team... If it came to living in Ottawa or Regina clearly Ottawa is much nicer. I hope the Blue sign Dressler he's a game changer. They could always move Denmark or Moore if need be

I think Dressler is going to Ottawa for a boat load of money ..... Montreal may throw some cash also... Very little odds of the Blue signing the guy... they already put a lot down for Moore so I doubt they'd put more money for another receiver.

I don't see the big deal , if anything I applaud them. Anything that advertises and promotes the CFL is good in my books. It was also in good taste so why not?

Ottawa game - Burris has checked out big time.... that defense played big but was to tired by the end. Contrary to what Goalie said the game was close up until the last quarter when the D gassed out. I think DeMarco should get a start.... Burris needs his ego put in check and that offense needs something new. BC Sask game - I can't believe BC lost to Tino Sunseri lol... in fairness the guy didn't look all that bad out there. BC sucks at stopping the run and they let this game get away... Tim Brown gave them fantastic field position all night and Glenn naturally couldn't finish any of his drives. He started off hot... got hit and was completely out of rhythm. I think Glenn would of been toast in Ottawa had he stayed and I think he's worn out his welcome in BC now also. Riders D had nice pressure... still not sold on their secondary. Clearly they can run the ball and throw the odd one to Getlaf.... We can only hope that the Blue actually can stop the run for once....

Burris definitely seems to have checked out in the last few weeks.... that offense has zero spark... they also have zero talent at receiver and questionable play calling. Why isn't Chevon Walker seeing the ball more times? That guy is the only threat they have on offense yet they don't ever dump it off to him?
