I recently watched an old shoot interview with Bam Bam Bigelow, he stated that the McMahons thought process was that everyone is buying a ppv solely for the Main Event and everything else is just considered filler to fill out the show. It's probably engrained in her from years of her dad and his mindset.

Players really out and about in the community lately

I don't know if visiting schools and reading books is anything really new, my niece had players visit her school about 5 years ago to read books. I do remember Chris Walby several times being my substitute gym teacher way back in the day and that was definitely a memorable experience as a kid. -

I was a skeptic but I then went to see Star Wars for my first VIP experience.... I have to say it was really nice. My favorite part was the larger seats and the fact that I could order at my seat and not have to deal with the crazy line ups. Also the lack of children made the experience pleasant. The D-Box and larger screens make going to Silver City more appealing... but for date night the VIP theater is a good experience.

Are you referring to the VIP theatres?

Is height that much more important then having good hands?

Lol are you this guy? I don't consider 50 people coming out and watching a show as part of an "industry" , a hobby or playtime is more appropriate. Also how is wrestling not a different form of LARP/ COSPLAY ?

Back in the day when he was "on top", loads of stories of the guy being a drunk idiot and wearing his flashy robe in public with nothing underneath. Use google if you want references since you seem to be very interested in the nature boys junk. Austin and Jericho were not guys I would associate with being prime wrestlers in the 1980's so your point doesn't make sense. Also Austin has had a somewhat post wrestling career and doesn't appear to be desperate. You seem to know so much about Benoit I assumed you were his friend. The head trauma was what was talked about in the media ... you seem to know more since somehow. -
Outside of WWE and maybe TNA It's not an industry... it's playtime for adults... another form of LARP.

Flair also used to whip his cock out in front of kids at shows and apparently used his sons death as an angle just to get more tv time. Hardly things to be jealous of. I'm simply referencing a podcast that he has (where he pushes ink toner cartridges for money since he's desperate for money) where he and Ricky Morton from the rock n roll express which I believe was in Fall 2015 where he spoke about not spending his money wisely and being broke. Benoit... I'm sure you know everything since you were best buds with him. -

It all comes down to if LaPo can call a decent game.... It doesn't matter if we have Dressler or Smith if on 2nd and long Lapo decides to screen pass it over and over again....

Wasn't Aaron Kelly 6'5? Sometimes size does not matter?

You mean flat broke and old? Ric Flair stated that he blew his money because he was never educated properly on how to properly manage it. Same problem that a tonne of black atheletes face(d) when they go from poverty to instant riches and fame. In the 80's it was the life style for the hard drugs , drinking, roids and all of that stuff. It sucked apparently a massive amount of wrestlers into that life style and most people can't sustain doing this financially and physically. You get a bunch of meat heads and give them the access to self destruct and of course the end results are grave. In the 80's these guys were mostly bouncers , failed football players and body builders.... these are not the kind of guys who you would expect to make smart rational decisions. Chris Benoit it was to be believed that the constant head trauma is what most likely caused him to lose all control. Studies/science has shown that constant head trauma can cause suicidal behaviour. -

So who is Rick going to call in as an expert to save Chumlee from Jail??

What more can I say... Hogan is desperate for money so he's set up the media (Gawker) so he can sue them. He's a d-level celebrity , an old timey wrestler , he's also broke... it's all a "work" just so he can score one last pay day. You should know more then better that many of the old school wrestlers are scummy scammers that will do anything for a buck.

Who said it caused his cancer? I didn't even suggest that the stroke was caused by wrestling. I'm talking about the guy losing his wife and becoming a sad and hateful individual who was on the verge of suicide. For the record a tonne of wrestlers have over dosed on drugs and/or had crazy side effects which a stroke could be one from long term drug usage. It's ridiculous that you would suggest that the long term steroid and drug usage doesn't cause long term damage to an individual both mentally and physically. Just look at how many wrestlers from the 80's and 90's died! -
Did I not read about Bubba admitting that Hogan was in on recording the sex tape? Sorry I was under the impression that "mark" was someone who was such a blatant fan of wrestling that they believe or will do anything to follow the fantasy. I think it's nice that you will defend Hogan to the bitter end and not even consider his past history and the fact that more then likely he's trying to scam money. Always believe Brotha!

The industry though is what caused Bret to become a druggy , womanizer, and a mess physically.... -
I listened to Ric Flair podcasts where he says he's broke and said he loved the business but made way to many bad business decisions. I doubt that right now he is in a better financial position then most of us. After watching WFX shows it was truly sad seeing many former superstars being so down and broke. I guess it's part of the old wrestling life style. For every DDP... their are dozens of guys who simply pissed everything away and who have to ***** themselves just to get by. Hogan - http://slam.canoe.com/Slam/Wrestling/2011/09/29/18758376.html The guy is broke and the last few years he's been trying to sue to get one last pay cheque.... I may have the wrestling terminology incorrect... but you appear to be a "mark" so perhaps you can't picture your childhood hero being a bum? Hogan's brand is pretty worthless these days so instead of crappy reality shows and tv movies... I'm guessing he can only sue to get money these days.

Out of all the tragedies with the Hart family... a bad stunt seems to be the one that should be forgiven the easiest. Davey Boy / Bret/ Anvil with their years of massive drug and family issues seem to be something much more difficult to deal with then one very unfortunate accident.
