I thought why not start a knee jerk reaction thread after a disappointing loss.. I would like to move on from Nichols, mainly because unless everything is running at an optimal level he can't get the job done. I'd much rather have a guy who can actually run and throw on the run in case the oline has some pressure on them. We blame the receivers but from my eyes this season it seemed like the receivers did not get passed to them mid stride on a consistent basis. It seems like unless Nichols has numerous steamboats that his passes require the receiver to dive or go high/low to make the catch. I would not mind handing the keys over to Chris and save a crap load of money signing someone else as a backup. I'll a take a year of growing pains over a guy who can't rollout and make a pass 15 yards down the field...

The club would have nothing to gain from keeping this a secret? It's not that big of a deal.

Why in the hell did the NFL allow them to throw a concert 9 days before the game?

A new era of QB's for the CFL to come, I'm ok with that. It would be nice for other teams to have to suffer like we did by putting many different QB's on the field until they find one that sticks.

I'm not a comic book guy but wasn't Stan Lee kind of looked upon as a guy who screwed over Jack Kirby and took a lot of the credit for things he didn't create?

My guess for next season.... BC gets Reilly, keeps Lulay at a reduced salary. Edmonton goes for Jennings. Everything else remains the same.... *If* Bo Levi leaves then Calgary gets Collaros , Saskatchewan makes a big trade for Franklin and Rider fans herald him as the next greatest qb....

Who could the Riders have brought in earlier this season to be the back up? Slim pickings and as a backup Bridge is somewhat serviceable.

I just don't understand why is he on that line? Is he in the dog house? I understand demoting guys like a Perreault, Connor, Roslovic, Ehlers..... but one of your bona fide A+++ stars gets demoted why?

For a good laugh read riderfans.com ... It's amazing that they have equal amount of posts about Brandon Bridge being a sack of crap and terrible and then the same amount of posts about how dirty Jeffcoat is and how because he was hit in the head they lost the game. The excuses are hilarious and of course not a single person making mention of the blatant holds, the uncalled lateral, the overall terrible performance from their run game.... it's so funny.

So what's the deal with Laine this season?

On the Bridge injury play I saw two riders blatantly hold two of our guys (Ogopogo) and zero calls.

A win is a win, I'm glad Streveler got some game time as a change of pace. My only gripe was Demski being to cute and our weak return game. I think if we clean those things up we have a shot against Calgary.

The lower end brands really have closed the gap with the name brands in terms of quality.

I will say with Windows 10 to re-install the operating system it is ridiculously fast and also easy. The OS also runs very light and over the last few years I found it to be much smoother then Windows 7. I'd make the leap.

Buono has had Jennings who has regressed greatly and Hufnagel has fatty Arbuckle. Both coaches haven't developed any QBs in the last five years.

I think Milt sucks on the panel, doesn't seem to know as much as others and seems to follow headlines and bandwagons rather then formulate his own opinions. Sanchez at times is much better at breaking down plays and players... it just seemed today he was all emotions and little substance. I agree that Barker is better and they should always have a coach on the panel just for a different perspective.

Was Streveler one of the top 3? I thought he had a very up and down game.

I didn't get why they pulled Manziel made no sense to me. Pipkin didn't look good to me. For next season they better hope they can sign someone else.... Also that Montreal o line is turrrible.

Entertaining game and sad for Edmonton barely winning despite playing 3rd stringers. Some bad drops by Demski and LaFrance. Augustine will definitely steal that back up job for next season. Nelson looked good. Streveler looked decent and no he shouldn't start. Davis Sanchez is not liked by Milt or Henry. Didn't help himself with his not liking smiling and and saying Edmonton is the greatest 9-9 team ever. Milt ridiculed him both times. Matt Dunigan was great he's hilarious.

No way the Blue Bombers are changing coaches next season. Trestman won't go to a gong show in Montreal. I'd say NFL or BC Lions with Reilly... that move makes the most sense.
