  1. It is in shambles and has been for the last 10 years. After having three family members going through Cancer during that time I can see why some people just pay money to get treated down South. If you get really sick in Manitoba you have to really really push hard to get treated and to keep on top of things. Each family member had incidents where incorrect medications was given to them and mix ups on how much or when chemo was given. It was not a tight ship in which you can just trust them to do what is right. You really have to do your own work to make sure that what they are doing is correct. Part 1 of my rant : A few weeks back I had to take my Mother to urgent care (Concordia) and what a gong show that place is. First of all the security needs to get fired ASAP and replaced with real security. A drunk man was waiting to get treated as he had tried to beat up his Mothers boyfriend and ended up injuring his hand. He was drunk and acting aggressive towards other people in the waiting room. When his Mother came to get him he flipped out and said he was going to kill her and her boyfriend and he didn't care about going to jail. He started aggressively walking towards her and then pushing her. The 5'7 security guard proceeded to walk away when this happened. When it escalated even further and the admin staff were yelling for security... the guy came back and then sheepishly hid behind the admin staff! Thankfully the admin got in the drunk guys face and told him to sit down. But I was in shock that this security guard would cowardly hide behind a 50+ year old lady when their was an actual situation in the lobby. Later on a 2nd security guard came by , this time a 5 foot 3 lady who was the opposite of athletic and when the drunk guy started acting up because nobody in the lobby would give him smokes she at least confronted the guy while the male security guard once again jumped and hid behind the admin staff. Unfortunately she couldn't persuade the drunk guy to knock it off so thankfully some one else in the waiting room got into his face and warned him that he was going to kick his ass if he kept it up. Absolutely unreal on how poor of a job these security people did. Even mall security I've seen can do a better job. Part 2 of my rant: We waited 13 hours in urgent care to get seen by the lone doctor. Talking with the nurses it was a slow night also for them!!! That's absolutely unreal that people have to wait that long to get treated. I'm not expecting miracles in which you come in and come out within minutes of arriving. But 13 hours and that's considered not so bad is absolutely unreal. I saw an old man who looked like Santa who was in the waiting room when we arrived and was still waiting after my Mom was treated. Dude could of been there for 15+ hours! That's unacceptable, this province needs a plethora of doctors and needs them ASAP.
  2. The Holm pushing VA out of bounds was the only penalty that I saw the refs miss on our end. Even Dunigan was calling for penalties for the missed head shots and pass interferences that were not called on BC.
  3. I forgot to also mention Dakota Prukop with some great short yardage gains
  4. 1 - Brady MOP 2 - O-line 3 - Bighill on the big 3rd down stoppage and was hustling a lot tonight. HH - Grant because he can actually get some yardage on returns
  5. I just watched the game on PVR and I'll say: Farhan wasn't bias and actually did a good job calling it down the middle. After 2 terrible fumbles, a crappy int, missed fg, at least 4 missed sacks, the Refs missing easily 5 - 7 calls..... BC still couldn't capitalize? Willie really needs to get a sack and break this snake bitten streak of his. O-line came to play today and did a great job. BC has zero run game and in the first half Hall reminds us how his d works when the d-line can't generate pressure. Ballsy complaining in that post above about the missed off side... I saw at least three times the BC defense jump before the ball snapped. The only other Bomber missed penalty was when VAJ was pushed out of bounds a second late, otherwise BC had multiple infractions that were ignored and that's not even calling the missed holding happening all night long. Our punter sucks, why can't we get a normal punter? Brady should be MOP but won't get it. Betts has a weird overbite that makes him look like Cletus from the Simpsons. Zach wasn't awful he was good for most of the night, VAJ was solid in the first quarter and so mediocre for the rest of the game. Get Stegall off the panel he's awful. Glad we won but need to execute far better and play a much cleaner game.
  6. Maybe the Mayor can visit San Francisco and see what happens when the homeless take over. Scare him into action.
  7. Craig is a good Bond but the material he was given was crappy after Casino Royale. It definitely wasn't his fault that the later Bond movies were a lot of meh. Roger Moore was hilarious, the movies are entertaining and watching those makes me yearn for more Austin Powers movies. Far more memorable (not always in a good way) then the later Brosnan and most of the Craig movies.
  8. I watched it in theatre and it was amazing, everyone came out enjoying it. Better action, better side characters, better gadgets, and a better story then the last Bond. The movie hits on every note and is memorable and for good reason why it is well rated and why it pulled in a tonne of money. The problem I found with the Craig Bond movies is that everything felt so generic and boring and sterile. The supporting cast are all forgettable or unlikeable, All charisma is pulled from the Bond character and everything just feels generic and run by the numbers. The pace is slow and the dark brooding troubled drama storyline over takes the fast paced cool undercover agent what Bond should be about. You can tell Craig wasn't interested in the character and everything was so tired and boring. Meanwhile Mission Impossible somehow keeps one upping themselves and somehow keeps things interesting even after all these movies.
  9. Some of the clips online are just embarrassing, I almost want to say that even I can do better then him these days and it wouldn't be a stretch to say so. Same goes with David Lee Roth and his live shows from the last few years, it's just absolutely awful. I'd rather those guys lip sync so that they don't completely make a fool out of themselves.
  10. If I had to watch either Solace or Moonraker it's not even remotely close that I'm watching Jaws fall in love. At least with the campy stuff it is entertaining for laughs and turning the brain off, with Solace and even the latest Bond I'd rather just watch the Mission Impossible movies since they are significantly better at doing the same thing.
  11. Selling crack to kids and beating women (girlfriends) , probably much more.
  12. I'm not shedding any tears that it took 27 years to find the murderer. This guy wasn't a good human.
  13. I'd put Casino Royale over Skyfall , but as the Best Bond movies ever .... Skyfall would not be in my top 5. It would be around the 10 - 15 mark. No Time to die and Quantum of Solace would be near the bottom.
  14. Nope this is revisionist history, dude was a headache prior to the kneeling. 2013 he was lightning and everything was looking real good, 2014 he had an ego and was lazy and was butting heads with Harbaugh and skipping practices and workouts and was getting out of sh ape. 2015 with the new coach he woudln't listen and ended up losing the starting job to Blaine Gabbert and then got himself hurt missing the rest of the season. Was a real a-hole that year. During the off season the 49ers fired the coach and hired Chip Kelly who then said for 2016 it would be an open competition for starter between him and Blaine Gabbert and Kap flipped out and threw another hissy fit. He did come into that season in shape but then did the kneeling thing in preseason and the rest is history. The dude was locker room cancer and not liked at all by his team mates and lost his job to Blaine friggin Gabbert! Only after the kneeling thing did he have support (and that was for the cause not for the man himself) so people like to revise history as in making the guy seem like he was beloved when in fact he wasn't. Why he didn't play after 2016 that's a different story, but prior to that he was on the outs for his poor work ethic.
  15. Being a big 49ers fan myself I followed them closely and even before the kneeling thing Kap was in hot water. Dude was not liked by his team mates at all and it got so bad that they were starting a 5th string starter over him by the end purely because the guy was such an a-hole. He had talent and really good physical abilities, but as a team player every week it was causing distractions and strife in the locker room. His issues prior to the kneeling were nothing to do with politics at all, it was just a guy that caused trouble and being extremely immature. Dude could of been a starter and a star in the NFL and had it all but he was his own worse enemy.
  16. I'm sure Kap who was benched originally because he was a locker room cancer, wouldn't put in work for tape study, extremely lazy, and an extreme prima donna. I'm sure that's a good recipe for coming in and learning a completely new game 7 years removed from playing.
  17. The rumor is this guy: Aaron Taylor-Johnson
  18. Rumors are circling that Christopher Nolan might be in line for doing the next few James Bond movies. Possibly taking place in the 60's period era. That would be amazing if this does end up happening.
  19. Noeller being Noeller again. He has an opinion , that opinion is represented by only a very small vocal minority of people. When someone who represents the overwhelming majority of the public challenges what he says, he then name calls and tries to denigrate the user. Definition of lockdown: a state or period in which movement within or access to an area is restricted in the interests of public safety or health. Restricted means limited access, it does not mean being locked into your house with military walking the streets. We were not restrained like in those countries. And as I said so many pages ago in this thread that the idea of being locked down and people isolating with COVID is over. People have moved on and are no longer scared about going out and dying, If they were to have restrictions again the public would disobey and ignore it.
  20. I enjoyed this read, that being said I hope they lose from here on out
