  1. Lucky is nice depth but I wouldn't spend big starter money on the guy. I would believe that Ottawa probably signs him since they have crap receivers.
  2. Matt Nichols in his last few years with us and his time in Ottawa was definitely worse then current Fajardo. But both guys equally healthy and at their prime it isn't even close. Fajardo currently is a game manager and a dink and dunker, I'd imagine it's very low odds that he takes the team on his back and makes big plays to win the game.
  3. For once I agree with Noeller, pre big injuries the guy was able to throw the ball down field and would attack. Post big injury he was a noodle arm who had to be a game manager because physically he was done. I posted a long time ago the stats of him before his injury where he averaged nearly 300 yards per game... post injury it was a bunch of 150 -225 yards where he dunked it off to the running back because he played extremely defensive.
  4. I think it comes down to Zach not forcing crazy plays (i.e. turnovers) and definitely no Prukop special package plays! If we get any sort of running production from Brady then things will be good for us. That lack of any production in the 2nd half from him was concerning.
  5. What time can you expect us all over at?
  6. I'd call it a learning experience for Dinwiddie and Kelly, I expect that next year they wont lay an egg.
  7. People came forward, locally a blind eye was turned. WPS should be ashamed of themselves.
  8. Would this be the biggest choke job in the play offs in the last ten years or so?
  9. If he has his best game and our defense decides to take it easy because they assume that they will win. I'm hoping our guys play focused and with the same intensity as today. If that is the case then I assume good things will happen.
  10. That's what she said.... N-e-ways.... My nerves are finally calming down from watching the game. As long as the boys come out with a sense of urgency and without taking it easy because it is the Als then I feel good for the finals.
  11. It was like that the old Bomber stadium as well with ladies using the trough 🤮
  12. Same goes with Za pizza, apparently they also mislead franchisees and several of their locations closed up shop. I can't imagine margins were large when they were giving unlimited toppings on a discount pizza. Everybody is going to pile up as many toppings as they can for maximum value so that can't be very profitable.
  13. https://www.cbc.ca/newsinteractives/features/fast-fired-carbone-pizza This would explain why the Fast Fired on Regent seemed to be open and closed at random times.
  14. How much more money can Walters make outside of Winnipeg? Can we not offer the same?
  15. It's not a take if it is fact. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to know more and I'll be happy to share from my real life experiences.
  16. Some are and some really are not. I've been to reserves in which the amount of garbage and waste thrown around everywhere is eye opening. Picture a really bad episode of Hoarders... but with the garbage outside of the house.
  17. I see BLM going to Riderville next year Toronto should handle Montreal easily, unless Fajardo somehow has a miracle game.
  18. Khari has had a raw deal, screwed in Montreal and then screwed in Ottawa being stuck with a craptastic QB in Crum. If the Riders were smart they'd hire him.
  19. The wife and I tried it out today for lunch, the verdict.... It's not bad but not the best. I had a chicken/beef shawarma with fries. Lots of meat and the spice level of the hot sauce is legit spicy and not "white person spicy". My mouth was on fire! The taste is less garlic and creamy and more dry spicey if that even is a word. What I did not like was the fries are really mediocre and the beef I think they keep under a heat lamp or something because I had multiple pieces that were rock hard that I had to spit out. The beef is low quality so I'd stick with chicken if I were to go back. The pickled turnips were also dried out which gave it a weird texture. The wife had the "osbox" with chicken, rice, and salad and only a mild level of spice. This was much better and the portion was large and the price was very fair. If/when we go back I think getting the rice/salad/chicken combo will be the way to go, it was fresh and the price and quantity you get was a very fair value. My preference is: 1 - Ramallah Cafe - Best meat/flavour and the other items on the menu are also really top notch. 2 - OSMows - Great value for what you pay. 3 - Les Saj - They really scaled back the quantity of what you get, the flavours are still really good but you get half the meat as the other places mentioned above. 4 - Baraka - Online people rant and rave about the place... I've gone three times and each time the shawarma is very empty and the flavours are super muted and bland. None of my middle eastern friends ever recommend this place.
  20. I'm not afraid of the Argos, but on the same note I'm not arrogant enough to think that they are a push over and lucky to have a good win loss record. If (when) they meet up in the finals it will be a 50/50 game that will come down to who can make the big plays and who can win the turn over battle. Like F last year we have a kicker and Prukop not tossing a lame duck that game more then likely ends differently. It usually comes down to a few plays.
  21. I thought everyone was joking when they post about him on this site at least? Facebook I wouldn't really put much weight behind what anyone says on it. The team site would be concerning since that should be a group of educated fans?
  22. Calgary getting blown out at home against our 3rd stringers was pretty indicative that the team is a pile of crap. But just maybe Vernon Adams will revert to bad Adams and throw 5 picks and Calgary pulls the upset.
  23. Wideleft getting his news from Reddit and Facebook... this explains everything LOL.
