I'm not afraid of the Argos, but on the same note I'm not arrogant enough to think that they are a push over and lucky to have a good win loss record. If (when) they meet up in the finals it will be a 50/50 game that will come down to who can make the big plays and who can win the turn over battle. Like F last year we have a kicker and Prukop not tossing a lame duck that game more then likely ends differently. It usually comes down to a few plays.

I thought everyone was joking when they post about him on this site at least? Facebook I wouldn't really put much weight behind what anyone says on it. The team site would be concerning since that should be a group of educated fans?

Calgary getting blown out at home against our 3rd stringers was pretty indicative that the team is a pile of crap. But just maybe Vernon Adams will revert to bad Adams and throw 5 picks and Calgary pulls the upset.

Prukop is good on sneaks, and when he does decide to keep the ball instead of handing it off he can get some really good yards. His passing looked awful the other day and was nothing special. Strev is great on sneaks, and when HE decides to run with the ball it's magic. His passing is greatly under rated and before LaPo was getting cute with the play calls and just let him run a basic offense he was making lightning quick decisions and can hit receivers in stride. I'd imagine 3 years with NFL training has improved the passing game big time. Zach is staying until he decides to retire... see his W/L record for any questions on if we ever move on from him.

For MOP I can only accept Brady or Kelly and as much as people want to rag on Kelly he really did play great all season long. I would choose Brady because the combine yardage being over 2000, being CDN, was a difference maker in many games... he deserves it. Vernon Adams had several stinkers and wasn't all that great down the stretch. No way should he win.

Have you not followed the Riders over the last several seasons? More so have you not been on this site where everyone has ridiculed O'Day for terrible moves (or lack of moves) and how they continually make the club look inept? I love having Bailey on the team... but I much prefer having Schoen , Lawler, Demski over him. If he's willing to stay at the same pay then all more power to him.

Jones is insane so it is a possibility, but how can they afford Brown and Ford at a high salary in 2025? I would assume Brown wouldn't sign a 1 year deal? Maybe he trades Ford to Ottawa and signs Brown that could be a possbility?

For once I am agreeing with you. The fact that some people on here think Edmonton would dump Tre Ford for Dru Brown is crazy talk. Guys like Shiltz, Arbuckle, Harris, Powell, and even Fartardo would have fantastic stats playing with our guys in our system. Unfortunately for all of those guys they are playing under fire and with significantly less support from the run game and receivers. I don't see Calgary or Saskatchewan signing him with starter salary. Saskatchewan with season ticket sales going down will either keep Harris or make a splash for Rourke, Strev, BLM or someone with a name. Calgary will do the same, DD isn't the kind of guy who picks up the major positions from other teams. Best bet is Ottawa and maybe they will get him?

Why do I feel like Saskatchewan hires Burris as HC and then dumps Harris and signs BLM to a mega contract? Meanwhile Harris goes to Ottawa and lights it up while BLM gets injured in week 3 and they go back to Dolegala? This idea in my head just seems right....

Do you think that many other qbs in this league would have much more gaudy numbers playing behind the #1 o-line, with the #1 rb, with the #1 set of receivers? I'm pretty sure guys like Matthew Shiltz and Tre Ford would be putting up really solid numbers if they were with us.

Realistically Dru Brown has Ottawa and maybe Saskatchewan. Dickenson won't go with a mostly unknown QB because that isn't his style. I assume he goes for Rourke or Evans or whoever that has more experience. I like our chances of keeping Brown long term since the QB position is settled across the league.

You really think that after all that Tre Ford showed in his first real season of starting that they cut him and sign Dru Brown. You crazy!

1 - Brown 2 - Replacement d-line 3 - Augustine grinding all those yards and getting that 5.7 yards average. That guy is a hidden gem. HH - Castillo for making all of those kicks and making them look easy. Bozo of the night - Suitor for continously bringing up Awe all night long. Also in the 4th quarter making it seem like Dickenson was pleased with that one TD drive from Maier and that one TD drive somehow makes Calgary rest easy despite him having a tonne of 2 and outs and doing absolutely nothing all game long.
