  1. Lightning in a bottle can change to flash in the pan pretty quickly. Swaggerville comes to mind. I'd like to see MTL to continue trending upwards however
  2. If true (and who knows if it is), I respect BLM for wanting to play more than wanting to get paid to hold a clip-board. Up here he gets to be the big fish.
  3. Unfortunate that's what it took to get Peterman back on the field.
  4. Hefney had no priors, at least according to the article I posted earlier in this thread.
  5. Guys please stop this it hurts
  6. The US locks up one former Bomber as China releases another former Bomber https://atlantablackstar.com/2019/09/26/former-cfl-football-player-freed-after-spending-three-years-in-chinese-prison-for-reportedly-defending-himself-during-bar-fight/
  7. He was leaving Winnipeg for Toronto. It was a really stupid risk but hey some guys gotta learn the hard way. 2 years house arrest living with grandma is a walk in the park compared to 9 years though. Poor Hef.
  8. I was flipping through my dad's vinyl as a teen when I came across Kristofferson and up til that point only knew him as 'the old guy from Blade' I'm not a country or pop guy but good for the CFL. He has to be better than Shania.
  9. Bralon Addison has been money for weeks
  10. It's the Streveler show from here on out. I'm just a little excited. This would make for one hell of a story. The stuff legends are made of.
  11. I knew a guy that was caught at the greyhound depot in 2001 with what he described as 'a duffle bag of e and blow' - he also only served 2 years house arrest.
  12. Sanchez explains why Man 2 is a dumb play in the redzone. Our DBs didn't jam anyone, just let them cruise on by. Bad call + bad execution = gimme go ahead TD https://www.cfl.ca/2019/09/25/chez-sez-analyzing-bombers-coverage-on-final-play-vs-montreal/
  13. I'm terribly sad for the guy. Hefney was my favorite Bomber while he was here. No priors. Gave back to the community. This is him in 2018 after an expensive and painful surgery to the shoulder he destroyed in 2015 (while entertaining us). He was finally regaining grip strength and feeling in his fingers 3 years after the injury. The CFL covered his expenses for 12 obligatory months then cut him off. I believe there was a grassroots fundraising effort in the CFL community that helped raise money for his surgeries. It's a crying shame this is where he ended up.
  14. I want biggy to come downhill on a sack, then beat Vaj with his own helmet.
  15. You are not out to lunch. We have 2 of the most gutless co-ordinators in the league.
  16. OMG that is borderline horrifying
  17. Nice try, Andrew but I'm not falling for it lol
  18. Anonymous Sask fans and a couple players on twitter accused the Blue of pumping in fake noise leading up to the Banjo Bowl. It would be pretty hypocritical (and at least a little funny) if they were doing exactly what they accused us of.
  19. That doesn't look like a fumble to me either.
  20. Hughes is 35 going on 36, he's probably just sore as all hell.
  21. Yes indeed. And isn't it nice to be having this conversation about Nichols/Strev when we used to have the same debates about Elliott/Brink/Goltz/Marve et al
  22. Who said Streveler is a better passer than Nichols? I must have missed it. Streveler definitely has upside. He's off to a good start and seems to be getting better. Nichols is who he is at this stage of his career, and injuries/age will lead to regression (if it hasn't already started). That's the opposite of upside. Saying this is not the same as saying Streveler is a better passer than Nichols.
  23. Just ran into Ambrosia! he says he never misses the banjo bowl. Nice dude. Nice suit!
