What did McCallister think he was in for? You gotta pay your dues to get ahead of the likes of Jeffcoat, Jefferson and Roh.

One thing I have to admit is that going into this year I expected a lot from Streveler. Maybe too much considering it is his second year. I think we can all admit that he's our best chance at developing a starting quarterback in a while, but he still needs that time to develop.

Quality post Colin. I liked the point about our pass blocking. Young o-line in the middle and an injured Hardrick, not to mention the experience of Andrew Harris blocking... And you can kind of see what's been going on. Makes total sense. Nichols would have been blasted behind the pass blocking streveler has been getting

Was getting concerned after the first quarter but I look at that game thinking Streveler made chicken salad out of chicken **** more than a couple of times

Very important game to win if we want to hold onto first place. Gotta believe Streveler took a step yesterday. Obviously far from a complete quarterback but given the cards he was dealt he made a real go of it

Im down on the defense but it is what it is. The unwinnable game was not won, again. Props to the referees for making sure of it, though

Penalties pretty lopsided

Juke of my life

Well you're right about one thing. Our D has been the only good part of the game so far though. We haven't gotten a first down have we?

Powell's 10 yarder our guy was held right in front of him. Wtf

Hopefully McCallister sticks around this time

So what you're saying is that we are too good for the NFL

https://www.cfl.ca/2019/08/28/nfl-cut-tracker-plenty-cfl-ties-south/ Zero guys in the NFL. Does that say anything about our team/scouting/recruiting? We are 8-2 so our team is good as a whole but we seem to have trouble finding the next all star that is so good they are destined for the NFL.

Yeah if Matthews isn't adding anything to the team we may as well use the money to sign a guy that will. 150k (or whatever) could get you that last piece of the puzzle for a cup run.

O'Shea also said that Chris Matthews was going to be a big part of our offense this year.

Has anyone heard anything about Charles Nelson? He would also be a great guy to have on the roster.

It certainly feels like a lot of adversity at once. But this team was doing well without Chris Matthews before and will do well without him again.

I don't know if there's a single player in the league, past or present, that you could compare to Andrew Harris as far as what this could do to their reputation. Hometown guy, holds a bunch of records, future hall of famer, embraces being a role model, etc etc. He had absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose from doing steroids

Booch is doing the trick in easing my concerns on this matter. Seems you really know what you're talking about. Is there anyone in the public eye willing to make the same claims?

Cant really fault the fans on having to process this. The players have had time to do so. The internet moves fast though. I think most will be back on the AH train in a coue weeks

Coming from Rogers it sounds like sour grapes though.

I think we will see Santiago. Augustine's our in game backup.

We all want to believe this but is there anything factual about this statement? You will have to explain further

I did
