  1. Cover teams look bad. Offense looks uncoordinated. Nichols misses wide open Lawler
  2. This seems pretty accurate.
  3. You never know but it seems unlikely since it's his first game. Unless they decide to race him and Whitehead down the field to see who wins.
  4. Watching MBT makes you appreciate Matt Nichols. Sometimes you wonder what he is seeing out there. Frustrating game to watch because the Argos could have won that if they just took FGs instead of forcing throws.
  5. Was just thinking this. Rainey looks useless
  6. Well I can't argue with the first point. We've seen it happen before.
  7. Please tell me this is based on anything at all. I'd love to believe it lol
  8. Yeah and you saw that on the endzone grab last game. Dude can ball. Just needed to be placed a little better on that one. As someone who picked him for lock of the week last week I was also keenly aware that if they go four receivers, he is the one coming out. So he isn't always on the field getting opportunities. I hope he tears it up tomorrow
  9. Completely disagree with the sentiment that this is a last chance game for Lawler. I don't think he's seen the same way by the team as he's seen around here. O'Shea is always looking at the full body of work and the big picture. Lawler is in this week because he has shown a lot in practice and in the games. He just seems a bit snakebitten to me. By my eye test he has all the tools to be a great all around receiver. And if you listen to some of the comments made about him in interviews it sounds like the team feels the same way.
  10. Begelton!
  11. Oh are there 5 strikes? I probably should have been paying more attention to that. I went with a pretty risky pick in Lawler. That said I'm probably going to keep gambling. It's got me this far.
  12. Lewis Ward will nail a 47 yard field goal
  13. Yeah Warren looked really good in training camp. Bringing in Korey Jones as insurance, and probably an improvement over Temple (though I'd imagine a little more pricey)
  14. We've been pretty good to not force anyone slightly knicked up to play. We have that luxury
  15. BC's oline is so bad that the rest of the team has essentially given up hope. Looking at their depth chart though... How many Canadians are they starting? Looks like 9. They need to start some Americans on the oline to give themselves a chance
  16. Winnipeg and Edmonton are tops Calgary and Hamilton are good but not great Montreal may be the dark horse at this point Ottawa and Sask together as the extremely mediocre teams Toronto might actually end up being better than BC as time goes on. BC seems to be fading hard
  17. Masoli has looked pretty bad this year. A very Un-Nichols like decision on that last throw
  18. Didn't we end with close to 50 points? I think you've answered your own question from earlier. Namely that the playcalling is going to be different when we're up big. Second, I can't imagine it's easy to go out there and play with intensity when you're winning by that much. Thirdly, I think we saw a glimpse of what it would be like without one of our all star tackles. The second half sucked, yeah, but it was destined to based on the reasons above.
  19. FIRST ADDISON AND NOW THIS
  20. Has a team been fined for going against the social media policy?
  21. I'm driving the Kenny Lawler bandwagon
  22. Kenny 3rd strike Lawler
  23. Oh right yeah that was a blip in my memory for sure. Woops
  24. They also put up 41 points in a loss the week before. And in the first week against Hamilton they played good enough defense to win despite losing their starting QB. Nothing crazy to think they had some momentum heading into this werks game
