Was there any doubt?

Petermann is just awesome

Petermanns a big boy too

Amazing

Guys I told you about Lawler. I told you

NEVERMIND

It's like Nichols literally can't throw a pass to Lawler

JEFFERSON

Sayles continuing to dominate

Sweet grab by Lawler (my boy) and then a sweet throw/ play call to Harris

Nelson is the definition of a returner. It's like he wrote the book on it

Offense is slowly painfully getting it together

Ottawa holding on for dear life on Streveler there

A rose and then a rouge

Defense isn't even tackling well. Come on boys

It seems like we aren't quite getting our full contingent there in time. Looks like he has a big hole every time

Cover teams look bad. Offense looks uncoordinated. Nichols misses wide open Lawler

This seems pretty accurate.

You never know but it seems unlikely since it's his first game. Unless they decide to race him and Whitehead down the field to see who wins.

Watching MBT makes you appreciate Matt Nichols. Sometimes you wonder what he is seeing out there. Frustrating game to watch because the Argos could have won that if they just took FGs instead of forcing throws.

Was just thinking this. Rainey looks useless

Well I can't argue with the first point. We've seen it happen before.

Please tell me this is based on anything at all. I'd love to believe it lol

Yeah and you saw that on the endzone grab last game. Dude can ball. Just needed to be placed a little better on that one. As someone who picked him for lock of the week last week I was also keenly aware that if they go four receivers, he is the one coming out. So he isn't always on the field getting opportunities. I hope he tears it up tomorrow

Completely disagree with the sentiment that this is a last chance game for Lawler. I don't think he's seen the same way by the team as he's seen around here. O'Shea is always looking at the full body of work and the big picture. Lawler is in this week because he has shown a lot in practice and in the games. He just seems a bit snakebitten to me. By my eye test he has all the tools to be a great all around receiver. And if you listen to some of the comments made about him in interviews it sounds like the team feels the same way.
