Yup. Don't understand Austin's fascination with Gable. He is a terrible blocker, doesn't like to get hit, and is not going to get you yards in the A/B gaps. Yet he still is the "feature back". Although in an Austin offense, that is a bit of a oxymoron.

Bannon was advising Trump, earlier this week not to upset the "Base". Think Bannon really meant his own Alt-Right base. The Cheeto in Chief spent a good portion of the election campaign, playing up to the "disenfranchised" white folk, and giving the bigots and racists some fodder, in the form of the Birther Theory, the Wall, Travel Ban, etc. These moral, upstanding Republicans that go tisk tisk.... every time that Trump says or does something inappropriate, which is pretty well every day, really make me laugh. They knew that by hitching the wagon to Trump, you were also getting Bannon, Gorka, Miller and giving the Alt-Right credibility and a say in the agenda. But hey votes are votes.

Hell, in my mind 2014 doesn't count....

His first year, MOS deferred quite a lot to Etch and Marcel B. That didn't go well. He is now into his 3rd, and understands that the HC provides the overall direction and the kind/style of play and players, and schemes that he wants...

We seemed to play more press coverage with our corners against Hamilton......perhaps because they have this popgun offense. We are getting better in the back - having Moe back is a huge add, and the secondary shuffle, seems to have worked. Linebacking as a unit is still a question mark...

After the late pick that cost the Bombers the win against the Lions........Nichols put it directly on himself, stated he had to be better and promised he would be. Stats and the ole measurables aside - this is what you want, leading your team.

Knowing Wally by now......expect the Lions to have a much tougher week at practice, this time.

Well, Bombers can beat the teams they are "supposed" to beat. Next tasks: establish winning tradition on home turf, and knock of the teams, people think you "can't beat" This upcoming Edmonton game would be a good starting point.

Looking at it another way....and may be stretching it a bit here.... Perhaps we are inching our way up to that next level - where the best players simply play ........irregardless of whether the coach really likes them, how long they have been around, or they are great locker room guys, or give good interviews, or dress real well.

Do they have, like expandable memory yet? Until then, forget it.

The Wally pre-gamer was pretty eerie.......sure enough, BC came out were flatter than a pancake. Reading too many press clippings? Jennings was pretty special....an a brutal and horrible way. Far beyond bad. Riders played well, and had the most D pressure I have seen from them, in a while. Or is BC OL is really that bad? In games like this, usually both.

Two of the right kind of losses, means two more moral victories....

Pretenders or Contenders......these kind of games puts the rubber on the road.
