  1. Yup, lots of individual plays from all facets of the game that could have made a huge difference in the outcome. Team loss.
  2. Can confirm. Not my biggest gripe about how the event was run through since that has happened here as well.
  3. Calgary has not seemed to have any issues keeping their coaches for years on end. They get little promotions here and there but for the most part they are in the same role. Killam & Monson have been there 13 years and Delmonaco has been there 9.
  4. Even simpler, keep feeding him the ball. He thrives on a heavy workload.
  5. My wife got it and I did not. I fully expect to leave Regina on Monday with some sort of disease though!
  6. What's more troubling, having a shot at a 50/50 ball in close coverage or not being able to cover a guy because he beat you clean on his route and you can't keep up?
  7. Yeah he's a clown. Claims Calgary was disrespected but stays silent when Begelton got gifted a spot he didn't deserve.
  8. At least some opposing players are acknowledging Schoen's omission.
  9. Whoa whoa whoa. That contest is still alive! 😁
  10. Literary just seasoning a brick of cream cheese with your favorite rub or seasoning and throwing it on the smoker for a little bit. It'll get soft so you can use it as a dip for chips, crackers or veggies. I usually do a few different flavors (taco seasoning is always a crowd favorite). https://www.orwhateveryoudo.com/2021/08/traeger-smoked-cream-cheese.html
  11. Around the world in 80 buffets was my first introduction to him. So funny.
  12. Smoked cream cheese is a super easy appetizer that is always a hit.
  13. Another solid piece from Ed Tait. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/11/18/long-read-dalton-schoen/
  14. Noticed the same. Seems like it's gone downhill since Adidas stopped making the gear.
  15. We are definitely paying more this year than we paid in 2019 but we bought early this year instead of waiting. We have a decent size group that we wanted to sit with so the concern was not being able to get tickets all together if we waited until the last minute.
  16. Yup. Popped into the Bomber store last night and that was the sentiment for a lot of people there.
  17. The injury was mentioned a couple days ago in the media but not confirmed. https://torontosun.com/sports/football/cfl/toronto-argonauts/argonauts-come-up-big-when-needed-to-topple-als-and-earn-berth-in-grey-cup-game "McManis said he felt good going into the East final and was convinced he would regain his all-star form. But the feel-good story ended abruptly in the opening half when McManis left the game with a suspected torn bicep and is questionable for the Grey Cup game."
  18. Yup but he had those things in Calgary too and he wasn't exactly lighting it up.
  19. If they were getting prime BLM, then absolutely. They aren't though. He's not what he once was so what he did for Calgary wouldn't be the same for Hamilton.

  21. This is the answer here. Park somewhere near the closest route to you and take the shuttle to the stadium. https://www.greycupfestival.ca/transportation/
  22. I've been happy with what he has done for us this year but realistically what other options would be out there for him, if he stays in the CFL? He's not going to be a starter on any team, even the Riders so he's stuck in a back-up role. Maybe someone will give him a shot at the #2 position but he saw the field more as QB3 here than he would as QB2. If you're stuck in a back-up role, would you not want it to be on the best team in the league?
  23. Agreed. They are going to have to make room somewhere, especially if Rourke is back & gets the pay bump he deserves.
  24. Just pointing out that they didn't have anywhere near 300k just kicking around. They got the IR savings you talked about but still had to maneuver to make the deal happen. They loaded up on non-QB's during FA and left themselves very little wiggle room. Some GM's are just better at it than others. We added Collaros during the season with out issue. Walters always seems to have that cap space tucked away. They do have VAJ under contract through 2023 so they aren't completely hooped if they lose Rourke to the NFL. He's obviously not their preferred QB but given the other options out there, he's not the worst they could be stuck with.
