Bombers O-line coach
Brian maybe a rookie CFL OL coach if the Bombers bring him but he has experience coaching in the CIS level and his knowledge of the CFL game will be helpful for our OL. Here's what Angus Reid said about him... http://www.theprovince.com/sports/Thank+good+night+Angus+Reid+retires/9596638/story.html

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif has NFL aspiration and is doing his own pro day. Not Lavertu. Looks like Ottawa will now take Lavertu with the Bombers likely (in my opinion) taking Goossen. Lawless said Walters told him his top 3 picks are Duvernay-Tardif, Lavertu, and OL David Foucault. So in all likelihood it will be one of those 3. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif - NFL interest and NFL opportunity. Skipping the CFL Combine. If no NFL offer appears likely returns to McGill for a 5th season. Pierre Lavertu - likely returns to Laval for another season David Foucault - currently making his rounds through the NFL Regional Combines. Other OL options: Mattias Goosen - can play C or G at the CFL level. Can't return to school so he's available for rookie camp in May. Aaron Picton - experience playing RT but likely a RG in the CFL Adam Hughes - to take him second overall is a big reach but could be a consideration later as a 6'5" LG that could play the right side too. Do you have a complete list of prospects for this draft? 3-4 yrs ago, it's available onthe CFL but not anymore.

What round do you think Urchel will fall, 2nd round? 3rd round? Are you talking about Penn State's John Urschel?? I would be very surprised if he was ever in the CFL... I'm assuming this has been covered but does he even qualify for NI status? He would qualify if he applied for it. But he hasn't and probably doesn't plan to. Same thing with TJ Jones from Notre Dame. That's explain while their name is not on the CFL list.

He does. But if the good one isn't available, he won't take Goossen just to fill a need. So if not Lavertu, it will be Focault, Mike?

Kevin Glenn has requested a trade
Suber for Glenn - straight up. I think that will do it.

Argo released Khalif Mitchell
CFL Official Feed @CFL 41s BREAKING: The @TorontoArgos have released Khalif Mitchell. #CFL

Kevin Glenn has requested a trade
2 starters last year who are on the 'bubble' before TC... Cauchy - facing tough competion with Alexander, Newman and Bucknor. I can also see the Bombers going with a NI on field size CB with Alexander and Bucknor there and go with IMP at Safety Dunn - his spot will likely taken by Banks.

Bombers sign WR/KR Austin Coleman (unannounced)
i'm happy that they signed this guy. im assuming he will take the #2 jersey it's available now. btw, i thought there's another speedy guy from the saginaw tryout, i believe he is an rb?. did they sign him also? EDIT: cj tarver. another WR. http://www.mlive.com/sports/saginaw/index.ssf/2014/03/saginaw_sting_receivers_austin.html hmmm... i kinda sensing Denmark will figure in the trade for Glenn...

I would trade any 2 of Cauchy, Bucknor, Sears and Dunn and/or rights to Mulumba or Bilukidi
-
Bombers add 2 MORE imports
if this guy is good and will make the team and starting roster, he'll definitely create some mismatch on the boundary wideout position.

Bombers sign QB Robert Marve (unannounced)
does that make him 50% less chance to have ACL injury?

Alouettes Coaching Staff
Am I living in some kind of alternate universe where taking nearly 4 months to name a head coach is quick? I guess what he means is, it's quick (just under a week?) for Higgins to complete his staff . While O'shea is still missinng 2 positions... OL and LB.

Kevin Glenn has requested a trade
CFL Official Feed @CFL 21m According to @sportscage, the @sskroughriders are "kicking tires" on Kevin Glenn's availability. #CFL I dont think going to Sask will make any diffrence. Durant is probably the next durable QB in the league, next to Burris.

Coaching staff update
I learned that, Wylie has an NFL pension issue to settle and it's delaying the hiring. Bombers still wants him and there's stilla a possibility for him to be here. When? that's the question.

7am WBB FC Announcement -- Buck Pierce New RBs Coach
as I suspected he will be the RB coach. now we have an ex-CFL QB on coaching staff. that's really good. how's OL coach search coming along? i suspect if they dont hire an LB coach, O'shea will handle that position.

Kevin Glenn has requested a trade
I'll add Edmonton to that list.

Kevin Glenn has requested a trade
Desjardins can drag this longer if he wants. No team is rushing to trade for him. Bombers maybe in need of Glenn but we are not desperate to make the deal asap.

Coaching staff update
Yes. 1999-2002 for the Als. He coached OL in US before he began his stint in the CFL too. He would add a lot of experience to the coaching staff too. Although I'm not sure if he will fit to the 'teachers' category that Oshea is looking for his assistants

another OL coach option - Doug Berry ?

Bombers trade for QB Brian Brohm; cut Justin Goltz
McManus brought him to Hamilton and his input about Brohm was the basis for this move. In McManus We Trust!

Coaching staff update
rest assured that Kriss Sweet will not be our OL coach Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 56m Two sources have told me Kris Sweet is #Als' new offensive-line coach. Is this guy an option for us?

RB Dennis Johnson
He's not expected to be drafted as an RB but as KR. and will go on the laters rounds.
