  1. They started 8 Canadians probably took out a Canadian receiver.
  2. Oh boy this week he will get plenty of shots to make plays. Covering Taj Smith will get more than the 2-3 balls thrown his way. #RandleIsland
  3. the last three are currently employed by a CFL team
  4. They get two a game and three if successful on both and have a time out that's plenty. Especially now that every scoring play is reviewed.
  5. Undrafted walk on to bombers camp.. Unbelievable.. Some of the stories that guys create in this league are mind blowing.. Apparently Walters was watching Lirim for the past 18 months or so, and coaching him as to what to improve and how to do it. Good on Walters. i believe you are correct as i recall something late last season saying something about Lirim. Maybe it was an article, maybe it was on a fan forum, i'm not sure but positive i heard the bombers had interest in Lirim late last season. I have been pumping his tires since last October watching him in the OUA playoffs knew he was the real deal.
  6. Been a while I have seen a young QB so comfortable in 3 min situations. I think he has gotten points in 5 of 6 game inside 3 mins in the first half and in BC would have if not for the bad sneak. And the 3 games where he need to get points in the final 3 min has done it. Would be interesting to see his QB rating in those pressure situations.
  7. The good thing about it is we have the option to do it.
  8. Best thing about it Willy went through his reads and picked the best option. There would of been several QB the past few years who would of got deer in the headlights and screw it up majorly.
  9. It was fun every time people would start moaning about Grigsby in the chat room he would rip off a big play. Interesting thought that was brought up on the site twitter page is moving Grigsby to the slot and have him operate much like Durie with the Argos. I think he has the skill set to be very successful in that role. Would need a line up structure like last nights to pull it off.
  10. This is great development for Goossen get him in a half here a half there. No big time pressure just learn and be prepared to step in when needed.
  11. Going to get a good test next week with Chick. But Howard has looked a lot more comfortable at T than G.
  12. I think this group is the best I have seen in a while that work as one unit. Five guys that get push up the field and all have big time motors. Hardest working bunch of Dline men I have seen. So far I think this is the strongest group on the team.
  13. The point I was trying to make is you have the ability now to limit his snaps and take some stress of his body. Does not have be that #1 Canadian receiver you can rotate in and out Kohlert JFG and Watson. Kohlert has also really improved his blocking makes a lot of down field blocks.
  14. More opportunities to bounce ideas off each more creative brought to the game plan. I think the people that O'Shea has brought in have meshed very well together to. You have Canadian football people top to bottom throughout the organization and it is showing in big time. I think Neil Lumsden summed it up the best, "there are very good people working in this organization and it makes easy to cheer for them this. I am really enjoying watching them and pulling for them."
  15. Best thing about JFG stepping up is when Watson comes back he does not have to play all the snaps.
  16. Been missing for a while where the leader on offence was the QB
  17. Both holding calls were on the rookies Jones and Briggs the will learn.
  18. His QB is on pace to throw for 5000 yards. I'll take this play calling over anything in the last 4 years.
