I heard a rumour that Bomber ticket sales are extremely sluggish so far this year... the lowest season ticket numbers since moving to IGF. Not sure how true that is but I have no reason to doubt it.

People shouldn't count out our two OL picks from last year either... Matthew Ouellet de Carlo and Ben Koczwara. This season, De Carlo was an AUS allstar at tackle and Koczwara was a first team OUA allstar at guard. Both players should legitimately compete for spots at camp along with Neufeld, Couture, Gray, Speller and Desjarlais.

Theoretically if you are not afraid of taking futures in terms of players who drop due to injuries or NFL interest, then you can stock your pipeline with first round talent acquired in later rounds of the draft. The risk being that they might not ever play for your team. That's a risk you can afford to take if your Canadian talent is already strong. Calgary has been doing it for years and it keeps paying off.

I wonder if Shai Ross could be the next pick for the Bombers

Their QB situation is so bad that I kinda like the pick. Not that he will start this year but I think there is real potential there.

Fair to say the OL will probably take a bit of a step back after losing Goossen and Chungh... they were both really, really good. I don't expect Couture and Gray to immediately be at their level but at least Couture has been around for years already and Gray is an A+ prospect. Speller and Foketi also provide some options. It could be a lot worse. I still expect us to take an OL at 4 or 5.

I'll be surprised if the Bombers keep both first round picks. But if they do, my guesses would be Kongbo and Zach Wilkinson, if they're still available. Go for Oliveira or a receiver in the second round.

That's interesting. Temple was here in 2016/17. I guess he played a bit in the AAF for Mike Riley and now he is back here.

I think you can go ahead and put Stegall in at SB, Sellers at FB, and Walby at OT, not much debate required there!

He could get injured anywhere. It is pretty rare for quarterbacks to get hurt in camp these days. If he tries the NFL there will be big offers waiting for him from every CFL team if he gets cut. If he has a shot in the NFL he would be foolish not to take it now because it's probably his last chance at it.
