Our Canadians with significant starting experience are currently Harris, Neufeld, Demski, and Wolitarsky. Hecht and Couture also have some limited experience as starters. Geoff Gray is essentially a rookie... Derek Jones, Brady Oliveira, Tui Eli, Cody Speller, Petermann and Simonise all could potentially start... but potential can go either way. It would be unwise to cut Thomas. At the very least, he gives us flexibility in case we get hit with a rash of injuries to our starting Canadians.

Just to clarify the argument Brandon is making... Green did not play more games against the East, but he had most of his production against the East. 601 of his 1095 yards and all four of his TDs were in 8 games against the east, and 494 yards and 0 TDs in the remaining 10 against the West.

Thomas is a lock to make the team and I think people should be prepared to see him playing at least 50 percent of snaps, if not starting outright. The more likely surprise cut is Brandin Bryant.

I said I wasn't 100% sure. Thank you for the info! Hydro privatization would be an unmitigated disaster. I'm totally against it. But we haven't seen anything yet that indicates Pallister is even considering it so until then it is just a scare tactic by the NDP. The NDP recently put out mailers asking voters how they would feel about privatization, trying to gauge whether they could use the privatization bogeyman as an effective attack vector against the PCs. But the PCs themselves have never commented or taken any action towards that end so like I said, it's just a left wing fantasy for now.

Yes regardless of PPV buys and actual dollar figures, I think the event has to be considered a success due to the amount of "buzz" that has been generated.

Yes he is included. My current projection would be Neufeld, Couture, and Gray starting. Desjarlais and Speller compete for 6th OL with the other being the 7th OL on the 2-man reserve. Koczwara and Ouellet de Carlo try to earn a PR spot.
