Well... I'm not so sure. I can't see why not.

Were they over? I never saw any official report. -
Cannot a coach make as big a difference to a team as say, Blake Wheeler?
-
Well if you make him the highest-paid coach in the league then maybe it would be different. We fans pay a premium on seats and concessions so True North better be paying to get the best talent here!!
-
This really pisses me off. Teams like the Blues, Habs, and Bruins all hit a slight speed bump and they have no hesitation whatsoever in replacing the coach. The Jets suck year-in and year-out and they just sit around with their thumbs up their butts. Such a joke.

I'd still like to see LaFrance and Denmark sign here but otherwise pretty pleased with how the day has gone. Very happy about Nevis and the Chungh extension.
-
No need for good special teams NIs when we can sign worse ones? I don't get it.
-
Yes almost certainly although extending Chungh likely wasn't cheap.

Left Tackles make big money regardless of passport. I don't think any word was missed.

Derek Dennis is overrated

James Elsworth?

I think it's safe to assume that the Bombers didn't want Bennett. There was no surprise. Saskatchewan didn't steal Bennett. He was a free agent.

It's devolved into total hysteria around here. It goes through a cycle - "It's the goalie! It's the coach! It's the veterans!". Over and over again. And then everyone shakes hands and agrees that they've figured out the problem, then the Jets lose again, and the cycle begins once more. -
Kinda like a draft pick

No he hasn't, you just made that up. He played both sides in Finland and mostly RW in his last season. -

Petan gets dominated in our own zone, worse than likely anyone else on the team. That's what's keeping him out of the top 6. He's a PP guy right now. Let him grow on the PP and play very sheltered minutes 5v5... I think they're getting it (mostly) right with him so far. -

If they want to start pinching pennies, he's the guy. -

How do you know what side they prefer? Can't recall either one ever saying either way. And good god please no Armia in the top six. Might as well just re-sign James Wright for all the offence he provides. -

Ironically, the guy we all love to hate when it comes to the Bombers (Paul Friesen) is the only one who will ask the tough questions to Maurice. -
I dislike Iannuzzi, I would hope that we do not show interest

The difference is that SD makes an effort to shake up the match card every week. We get served up a lot of Dean Ambrose, The Miz, and Baron Corbin in the main event scene (and the more talented SD women get more airtime too) whereas RAW is the same 4 guys re-configured into tag matches or non-title matches every single week. Balor and Joe is a good point. But I feel like Goalie is right and we will be getting a whole new draft or some kind of shakeup after WM.
-
I feel like RAW needs him more. How many times can we watch Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, KO, and Y2J? However having him on SD fighting against AJ Styles would be pretty awesome.

Pretty good PPV. Tag team turmoil was good, looks like they're setting up a rivalry between AA and the Usos. Usos are way better now than they were as faces, I wouldn't mind a title run for them. Ascension seems to be scraping their way back to respectability in the weak SD tag division. So happy for Naomi! I'm a huge fan of hers. I love Alexa Bliss but seeing Naomi finally win is worth it. Finish looked a little awkward on that one though. Elimination Chamber match was okay. I feel like they could involve the structure a little more but it wasn't bad. I wasn't a big fan of Baron Corbin initially but he keeps growing on me. He's getting better and better. The attack on Ambrose seems to indicate a feud for the IC title and I think that's about where he belongs. And FINALLY Bray Wyatt wins a title. He deserves it. And he won it the right way, by eliminating both Cena and Styles on the way to the win. Sets him up strong for WM vs Randy where I'm not sure if he will retain or lose it... I lean towards retaining. Speaking of Randy, his match with Luke Harper was easily the highlight of the night. That feud likely isn't over but I wouldn't mind seeing Harper involved in the IC title picture either, he is easily capable. Although Rowan might be back soon and that would be a nice shot for the tag team division to put those two back together. Overall 7/10. Liked the title changes and some entertaining matches. Some boring ones too. Smackdown has a lot of time to kill until Wrestlemania but there won't be a lack of storylines.

Whatever that means
