I totally agree about Kohlert but the point is that Calgary seems to find a way to revive guys' careers. I still remember in 2011 when Marquay McDaniel got benched and then released from the Ticats. How has that worked out?

No, I don't think they will. Through the expansion draft alone, sure, but they also can sign free agents. They'll have no problem getting to the floor. "Better off than previous expansion teams" isn't a very high mark to hit. Most expansion teams struggled for a decade before seeing anything resembling success. I don't see that as being sustainable.

IMO they should just be given pick #1. They are going to be total **** in their first season.

He missed 2014 due to a major injury and never seemed to regain his form. He was an allstar guard at one point but at 33 years old.... don't think he's making a comeback. Could be a good depth guy I guess, if he can play centre. Not much use for a 6th OL who can only play guard, IMO.

You just don't get it. You have no respect for referees and the job they do. If he dropped the gloves and beat up a ref, forget a suspension, he should be charged with assault. The refs are not players in the game. They are off-limits. Period.

It's inexcusable! It doesn't matter what he did. The refs aren't players in the game. You can't touch them. Period. 10 games? That's nothing. That's absolutely nothing. He didn't make a mistake here. He made an intentional decision to attack a referee. That's garbage. A strong message needs to be sent, and ten games is not a strong message. That's saying "Yeah, if you're really mad, go ahead and slash the ref."

What an idiot. I have no patience for things like that. Should be zero tolerance, 100-game ban for first offence, lifetime for second. That's not an accident, that's not something that just happens during the course of a game. That's blatant, physical abuse of an official and it should be dealt with as such.

I believe it. I was really quite shocked that they were changing her character anyways. I liked badass Emma even though we didn't see her for very long before she got injured. Keep rolling with that.
