WWE is here on Sunday with the Smackdown crew. I've been to the last 4 house shows but might skip this one. The afternoon shows are kinda dull. If Cena and RKO were here it would be a different story but I don't think they're coming. Aj Styles and Alexa Bliss are almost enough to make me want to go... almost.

Exactly, that's kinda what I'm getting at. I think everyone in the Jets organization knows that Pav is a stopgap and Helle still has a future here as a starter. But now is not the time to let him develop and find out whether his poor play was an aberration. They need the (relative) consistency of Pavelec right now more than the roller coaster that Helle seemed to be riding in his last handful of starts.

I think the bigger issue is that Helle let in 3 goals on 6 shots or 3 goals on 7 shots... haven't seen Pav do that yet this season, and almost never in the past either. Tough to trust a goalie who has games like that back-to-back.

Armia should be in the press box or on the fourth line when Stafford returns. Maybe his injury is still affecting him, maybe not... doesn't really matter. He's not playing well at all. There's no point in keeping him on the roster when he's so ineffective. Bottom six should be... Perreault - Petan - Stafford Matthias - Lowry - Thorburn/Armia Replace "Pav" with "Helle" and that's been your logic for the whole year so I don't know why you suddenly have an issue with it.

Really hope we can get Poolman signed. It would be a big loss to our prospect pool if we lose him. What has Lemieux done to deserve a call-up? Maybe if we are out of it at the end of the season he will get a look on the 4th line. He'll get his real shot next year. Difficult to be a good tough guy/agitator in the NHL when you're only 20 years old... give him some time and he'll be with the Jets eventually I'm sure.

As for Shologan's replacement, fan speculation says we'll go after Jabar Westerman but we could easily just use an American in that spot and find a Canadian to play elsewhere.
