Yeah the kick didn't look too bad to me... pretty routine. Paige has back and neck problems to begin with... that's not a coincidence. It's a shame though. I hope she is able to come back. Knowing how hurt she was and watching that video is really uncomfortable. You can tell she is struggling to get control of her arms and legs.

Absolutely they have struggles. But they also get by and many live very happy lives there and would be offended to hear you call it a horrible place. I have spent months in Central America, both vacationing and volunteering. I've seen how brutal it can be and I've also seen how beautiful it can be. I never came away feeling that they were horrible countries. I guess I'm just not the type to look down my nose and call them shitholes. Tour the roughest area of Winnipeg followed up by a visit to some Northern reserves and your opinion of Manitoba might be that it is a horrible place. It doesn't make it true.

I'd say the Jets of the past few years have been mediocre. The Wild were the highest scoring team in the West last year. Not mediocre.

On one hand that's unbelievably racist, on the other hand, a Korean-looking woman would undoubtedly be received better by NK than a woman of another race. So it's a tug-of-war between being politically correct and diplomatically shrewd. Ideological vs. practical.

Likely will never be champion but she is very funny and actually quite good in the ring. Knows her role and plays it perfectly. All guys who have dominated at the AHL level. It's difficult to compare league-to-league, of course, because they never actually play against each other. But it is pretty well-accepted that the KHL is a higher level than the AHL. The KHL tends to make big money offers to top AHL guys who are no longer on NHL deals. I'm sure the two leagues are close in talent level but I'm fairly confident saying KHL is a cut above.

There were still complications with the 'Knights' name. London owns the rights to it in Canada (OHL team) and although it could be used in the US, they could potentially face opposition from the University of Central Florida Knights.

Not so sure about that. The level of play in the KHL is easily higher than the AHL and most of these guys are KHL players and in some cases KHL star players. Then again the Moose are the best team in the AHL. Would be interesting.
