FreeP is saying Banks is done. Likely outright cut to make room for Romby...
-
Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 1m Through my eyes, you could see Korey Banks falling out of favour with the #Bombers. And now a report surfaces he is on the trade block. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 35s From what I saw through training camp and practice daily, I didn't have Korey Banks in my starting lineup. That's MY starters. Not #Bombers' Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 3m "He took a vet-day. Whatever that is." Mike O'Shea said unimpressed when Banks took a partial day off early in #Bombers training camp. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 2m That comment stuck in my head like glue.

Yeah, I'm really just kinda giggling about how this board gets after a win. Need to keep an even keel and remember where we were last year. Things just don't turn around that quickly. Let's hope for a competitive game vs Ottawa and continued signs of progression. If everything regresses to last year -type levels, then this place is going to melt down. #FireEveryone

I'm getting a chuckle about how personally Jacquie seems to be taking this....

I always have concerns about what this sort of thing does within the room, but we have no way of knowing how KB is viewed within the room. Do the guys like him? Is he a jerk maybe? A diva (...or a c***?) All we can do is trust Walters and the coaches.

Travis Lulay to begin season on six game IR
Noeller replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm laughing so hard at anyone who says "Wow, Wally's looks like a genius now for getting Glenn!" ...Please...he knew damn well that Lulay was ****** and that if he didn't get some kinda player who could actually lead the team, he'd be totally ****** this year. Now he's gotta pray to Christ that his p.o.s. OL can keep KG5 clean or it'll be a bruuuutal season out west. -
was crowing quite loud last night when West smoked that guy with a teams tackle. That's why the guy's on the team...he's a beauty on the teams. Love it.

The biggest thing is that they seem to be treating the league with respect and not looking down their nose. That's always my biggest concern when Americans talk about the CFL. I don't give two shits about the NFL or NCAA, so I hate when Americans start talking about how most NCAA teams would beat the best CFL team and all that crap. But this whole series from SI seems to be done in the proper spirit...

I think the only word to describe my feelings throughout the game is "incredulous". Not sure if it was a dream or not. We watched the game, then saw the highlights on TSN, then fired up the PVR to watch some of the game again, then I watched the CFL.ca 5 minute highlight pack again this morning. I'll probably watch the highlights another dozen times before next week. This is one that's getting protected on the PVR and will never be deleted...

Did you miss the defence doing a celebration involving posing for a fake picture in the end zone after Washington's fumble return TD?

So, I'm listening to TSN 1290 for pretty much the first time (online from Calgary...) and I know Bauming is still learning, and he'll come along, but God bless Chris Walby 'cause he's carrying this show. Thank goodness he's got the wide shoulders to do it. He's really the only real professional on this broadcast. Westwood.......eeeeesh.

Well, Dave and I decided to buy a case of Winnipeg beer for this afternoon, so we found some Half Pints Li'l Scrapper IPA at a Calgary liquor store. Seems appropriate to drink the 'Toba booze today and salute the boys. #GOBLUE bee-tee-dubs, I'm some kinda excited to join the chat room tonight with a good buzz on...woo...

Exactly this...100%

Never mind the Rider fans being upset that Durant was ranked higher than Ray...I read something online this week that said Ray is the best QB in the league "...Now that AC has retired..." Ummm.....?? Calvillo was never, at any point, at the same level as Frito. Not close. Frito is without a doubt, the best since Flutie.

Gonna be a great day. Similar weather here in AB. Finish work around 10am, then heading into Calgary around Noon for some pre-gaming. Absolutely can't wait for Knuckles and the pre-game show!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! GAME DAY: WE ALL PLAY.

in fairness to Iso, all Albertans feel that public hangings should be mandatory for any and all crimes...

I just discovered that my sister is a closet Rider fan ...
Noeller replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
They desperately need another stretch of Al Ford Years to thin out their ranks a little. Then we'll see how cool it is to be a "fan".... -
Pretty much exactly how I feel. I trust MOS...for now.

Improving fan experience & traffic flow after games
Noeller replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Honest to God...I really gotta find another line of work, so I can move home and get seasons again. All this cool **** I'm missing is pissing me off.... -
and nobody is denying that anywhere......but the point is that Burke didn't need to publicly **** on the whole thing. It's completely unnecessary...
-
It was extremely common knowledge that Alex Hall hated Tim Burke and wanted nothing to do with playing for him...
-
Trust me, I ain't got NOTHIN' on that guy...he wrote the book on "make quick decision, spin till death defending it"...
-
they'll paper heavy and it'll look pretty full, especially if the weather's nice...

It's really cool that TSN tries to do as much as they can to hype up the league, but the "preview" stuff is always kinda fluffy because the national broadcaster doesn't have enough info on what's going on in each city. They need more input from the regional beat guys to make that worthwhile. Still, CFL stuff is CFL stuff. Anything to get prepped for the season. I'm personally in the middle of that Bombes 75th Anniv book that Bob Irving did back in 2005, and tomorrow I'm planning on watching the Bomber Traditions dvd with 17to85 over a glass of rye... #BringOnTheSeason

Says you...how much of that 3-15 is Burke's fault? You're justifying conclusions with your personal beliefs. That's way too much of a 17to85 -type of rationale...be better than that STL...
