So far, I'm enjoying it. Computer boots up a little slower, but it's an older laptop, so I suppose that's to be expected. But it looks sharp...runs smooth.

Curious what this all means for NHL CI. This year was already going to change because those guys successfully sued the league, so the cost was going down by about 40% for this year. Really interested to see how this will change it, if at all. Would like to get NHL CI only for Jets games in AB, and it'd be nice if it didn't cost a fortune...

Yeah, I'm actually in favour of raising the GST again. Lowering it was a cheap vote-get from Harper. Only stupid people don't appreciate the GST for what it is...an easy way to lower debt.

This is exactly why it's mind blowing that anyone thinks the NDP would be could economic managers. I guess when you hve no problem raising taxes it's easy to pay for everything. Depends - I think someone like Gary Doer would make a good Prime Minister. Jack Layton with some decent cabinet ministers would've had potential. Exactly the reason Harper gave Doer the US gig. He would roll as a Nat'l NDP leader who brought the party closer to the middle...

Justin-As-Leader aside, I feel like the Libs probably have the best financial plan going forward, which means the most to me at this point in our nation's recession. I don't hate the CPC as much as I hate Harper-As-Leader, and wanna see his Senate selections bite him in the ass hard during the campaign.

Feels to me like they've written off this season and would rather just do a wholesale change in the off season...

I'm definitely a Jays fan, but hopefully they'll be able to work something out. I know Rogers is evil and tried to kill the whole CFL, but I love baseball and am a Jays fan and am excited for a Canadian MLB post season run.... Fwiw.

There were a number of reports before any of the QBs were available that the Bombers were very high on Willy.For the billionth time on this forum, they were always going to bring in Willy, but they were also trying to bring in one of the other guys. If Burris came, it was gonna be Burris with Willy as back up last year. That's been in the paper a lot. McManus was a huge DW fan and they were always going to bring him in no matter what.

and people who say that Gretz would get killed in today's NHL aren't giving enough credit to just how smart the guy was. That's the biggest thing...he's the smartest guy to ever play the game, bar none. He always found a way, and even in today's game, he'd find a way. Every time...

If we have Willy in the game, we're always in it. Anyone who gave up after that opening drive can **** off...we don't need fans like that.
