In terms ability, they're different players, but in terms of attitude and leadership, Ladd is worth more money than Kesler, IMO. Now, having said that, I still don't like Ladd at the money the Ducks just paid Kesler. That was a massive overpayment and I hope the Jets don't do that with Ladd, as much as I do like the guy.

What an absurd contract to give a jerkoff like Kesler. Hope that ends up being the albatross it deserves to be...

Milt's arguing has become tiresome and annoying on there...if he wasn't a God around these parts................ I can't say I watch the panel very often... but from what I've seen it almost seems like he intentionally plays devil's advocate... just to spice it up... or something... Well of course he does...it's all a sham that's set up ahead of time. But that doesn't make it any less annoying.

100-120 isn't going to get you much of a room, but if it was me, I'd stay on the south end of the city. There's a few nice hotels down there. Both the Ramada and Days Inn down there are decent places, and just down the road from the always-amazing Cook County Saloon. Best piece of advice I ever received about getting tix at Commonwealth: "There are no bad seats..." and it's about right. Huge place, great sightlines. Better to be higher up than too low...

At this point, I am not really worried about the in-game scoreboard situation. At a just over 50% rate of conversion on the single point, the rate of conversion for 2 points conversions being roughly 40-50%, it may become a case of "we might as well just go for two" and have the same rate of success. Not sure why Lirim is having problems with these but I suspect it's a mental thing. I thought I heard/read that he's having trouble with the angle on the converts as they are centered rather than placed on the hash marks like field goals. If that's the case, I'd assume it's just a matter of time before he's comfortable with them. This....it was in the paper last week.

That's a lot of moves for a team that is coming off a win. The one thing all good OLs do is constantly swap players in and out....cause that'll help the communication and consistency.

It was the Bears beat writer that actually found out about it. There's truth, tho I'm not sure how much just yet. They tried to deal him at the deadline cause the locker room was a mess. Apparently Toews stepped in and kept things from going full scale war, but they had to get rid of him this summer, no question.

MOS was saying in the post game show that this D will absolutely come together in time. Still just working things out but he all but guaranteed that they'd get better as the season goes along...
