  1. Wish that day was a Saturday Bombers Afternoon/Jets Evening contest.....that'd be worth driving home for. Shame about running 'em at the same time.
  2. I sat through that **** ******* weather last fall to watch that incredible Moment At McMahon, so Wiecek can **** off with that noise.....
  3. I still think BC is going to be a lot better than most think....
  4. Outdoor summer football is fantastic, but there's something intrinsically Canadian about the ultra-cold outdoor Grey Cup game at the end of November...
  5. MOS is just a straight up MAN. He doesn't take **** from anyone, and tolerates fools poorly. If you're a moron, he's not gonna hide it well. If you show intelligence, he'll respond in kind. I absolutely love the way MOS (appears to) deal with the media...
  6. TJH with a big play early on, then looked like a ***** refusing to lay out for one later on...
  7. So much respect for steel players. Have a couple good buddies who play in bands in Cgy. It's a thing of beauty to watch.
  8. I should clarify that my original post was paraphrasing tweets. I'm back in AB now, sadly....
  9. Addison Richards and Stanley Bryant both practicing today....
  10. By God, he was that day. #KallTheKopps
  11. Nooooooooooooooooooooo...........frig. Seriously, loved The Mayor. Fitzy, we hardly knew ye.....
  12. Man, this Marve story is getting more interesting all the time...
  13. Ed Tait ‏@WFPEdTait 35m35 minutes ago Stanley Bryant back at work for #Bombers. NP: Lamar, Richards, Brown, Moore, Kohlert, Stoudermire, Richardson, Unamba, Johmson, Neufeld #bn Darrin Bauming ‏@DarrinBauming 15m15 minutes ago New DB on the field for the #Bombers — 5'9" 178lb Akron Zips product Malachi Freeman, wearing No. 14.
  14. ...That he's likely to be here next year...
  15. Also a good opportunity to try the new 25 (35?) yard regular FGs...
  16. That would be a mistake cause Portis stinks. I heard Coorsman has a better arm than that guy...
  17. Aside from BC, Calgary and Saskatchewan who all have much better depth....And add in the fact that Grigsby is terrible. This was my first thought. I'm not convinced our current stable isn't better than Ham at this point...
  18. One thing that hasn't really been mentioned yet is that Reeves had a catch last night and, at least in my listening to Irving's call, didn't seem to be out of place at all on the field. That's a really good sign. If the kid can improve leaps and bounds from week to week, he might not be as far off as some folks seem to think...
  19. I'd read something before about possible hammy pull because he had a bit of history with those as well. Matches up with the "lower body injury" thing, as well. Either way...the kid will get his chance to show what he can do, in time.
  20. Thought Tuinei did the most to improve from practice, and Gordon did the most to show less than he had in practice....if that makes sense. Be interesting to see if Gordon can find some form in Game 2...
  21. apparently some kinda shoulder problem, will require surgery and he'll have to miss the season. They *claim* it won't hurt them too much because of a lot of depth at the RB position. We shall see.......
  22. Ticats apparently lose RB Moses Madu for the season with the TC-suffered injury......bodies hit the floor, bodies hit the floor......
  23. Just a FWIW, but our OC looked like a genius through the first half dozen games of the year before our QB got dinged up really bad.... Now, some might say he got figured out...other teams adjusted, and he didn't readjust.....but I choose to believe we just didn't have enough healthy tools to make it go...
  24. Vegas, Quebec City and Seattle all way ahead of anyone else at this point, in terms of possible relocation sites...
  25. God bless you all...
