Ti Cat Coaches & Players
Went to school with him and got to know him, and never knew him to be a sports fan. Which is why when he was holding the cup on center stage I had to think it was all about politics and not about actually being a fan. But who knows. I'd like to see him work to help out the Flames and Stamps with better infrastructure, since Edmonton is getting a new arena. Mcmahon is rapidly becoming the shittiest stadium in Canada, and will win the title as soon as Regina's stadium is done. We'll know more tomorrow about that, apparently......big announcement about the proposed new facility (joint Flames/Stamps project) tomorrow...

CFL on TSN panel gets its groove on.
This was the worst thing I ever saw on TSN CFL.. Good Lord.

If the Bombers did that to teams, I'd hope we acted the same way. The TiCats have earned the right.

Week 8 Edm.@Mtl. BC@Ham. Ott.@Cgy.
Nope...watching both games today from start to finish. Cool day here in Calgary so cooked a nice dinner and the wife is catching up on her reading and I'm watching football. Even the dog is sitting with us. Lovin the cooler weather. 17to85 and I ditched the wives tonight. First guys night in awhile. Watched most of the first one, watching the Stamps game now before heading to Comedy Cave on McLeod....And cap off the evening with a pillow fight and tickle party with eachother? You're big on the tickle fights tonight eh? Dave's roommate might be jealous....

Well what can you say?
Denny has been more or less invisible since about Week 2.....

Shotgun?
Game was more or less lost before that, but yeah....not sure what the shotgun call there was for.

Well what can you say?
Rookie QB with no prep time cost us tonight, I thought. You could really see the inexperience in Marve. I don't blame the guy...but he is what he is. Made a lotta "rookie" decisions tonight that, I thought, really cost us. I'm a big believer that we don't give up the kick return TD if he doesn't take the 20 yard sack....shoulda thrown it away, punting from farther down, and I don't think the ball comes back.

Election 2015
but it's interesting, when I go back and read the book of his rants from 22 minutes, when the Liberals were entrenched in power, you'd swear that he was right leaning cause he ******* hated the Liberals back then. With him it's all about taking any party to task over things he doesn't like. the current 22 minutes gang are all NDP nuts. I suspect a majority of their writing staff are on Reddit cause they get a lot of material straight from there and Reddit is the most left leaning place out there. It's sickening to read the crap these kiddies actually believe. If it pours tomorrow, them early season DVDs are coming out....

Mercer (...and the 22 Mins crew, for that matter...) are HARD left, but I still love their Harper take-downs. Mercer's a really smart dude...

13.5 years of small town radio, if there's one thing I know, it's people complaining about the weather forecasts. Sigh.....

Who should we bring in to replace our OC
Edm and Ham for sure...just because our fan base is that much more rabid. And the 25 years thing. People are so angry.

Who should we bring in to replace our OC
It was in both papers....absolutely. I believe the first person to write it was Lawless....

Who should we bring in to replace our OC
Re: Marve, it seems to me that he has way more goodwill built up from the fans than most back-ups. I think his honeymoon period will be longer than most. If he actually shows half-way decent tonight (doesn't even have to win, but is just "exciting") then they'll want Willy traded tomorrow...

Jets Prospects
Is he? What is he wrong about? "There are some teams out there bursting with young talent. Those teams don't have to do much in the offseason, they simply need to wait for their players to develop into young stars. That's not the case with the Jets." This was the line that got me...I literally burst out laughing.

Jets Prospects
So this is going over well.............. http://www.csnwashington.com/hockey-washington-capitals/talk/season-preview-winnipeg-jets?utm_campaign=Contact+SNS+For+More+Referrer&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=snsanalytics To get you ready for the 2015-16 season, we will be previewing all 30 NHL in 30 days, division by division. Check the bottom of the page for a schedule of each preview. Today’s team: Winnipeg Jets 2014-15 record: 43-26-13, 5th in the Central How they finished: Lost in 4 games to Anaheim in the Western Conference Quarterfinals Coach: Paul Maurice (3rd season) Notable additions: RW Matt Fraser Notable subtractions: RW Michael Frolik, RW Lee Stempniak, C Jim Slater RELATED: Caps have two of the 50 top NHL goalie prospects Schedule against the Capitals: Wed. Nov. 25 at Washington, Sat. Dec. 5 at Winnipeg Outlook: What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over again and expecting different results. That's what seems to be going on on Winnipeg after the team was swept in the first round of the playoffs and made no moves in the offseason to get better. There are some teams out there bursting with young talent. Those teams don't have to do much in the offseason, they simply need to wait for their players to develop into young stars. That's not the case with the Jets. Though there are a few young players who can develop into contributors--Adam Lowry (22), Mark Scheifele (22)--there's not a lot to build around on this roster. There is no young corps of budding superstars besides a few notable goaltending prospects capable of leading the Jets for years to come. Instead, there's a group of players who are in their prime and have led the Jets to the middle of the pack. Players like Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler and Dustin Byfuglien are good pieces to have, but not anything to build on. Goalie Ondrej Pavelec has made a career out of playing dominant in net for 10 games and then looking like a backup the next 10. And yet, the Jets did almost nothing other than watching Michael Frolik sign with Calgary. Expectations: Last season was a success because they made the playoffs for the first time since moving to Winnipeg, but the playoffs are the ceiling for this roster and they did not even win a single game last year in the first round. They could easily fail to reach the postseason this year after failing to make themselves any better at all.
