I don't understand why people care so much about this. I get Lapo and Nichols are there, but so what? It's another division, a team we normally only play the bare minimum...they can't change the schedule just because there's recent former players/coaches there. It seems like a strange thing for people to be upset about, but Twitter has been alive with it this morning...

Meeting starts shortly...all signs pointing to a yes vote today. Tons of good news coming along, including team managers and players being told to proceed as if everything is a go, with TC starting in a few weeks. Ontario government announced they're allowing training/practices for pro/elite amateur sports. And the legalized single-game-betting bill is trending toward becoming law before they end their current sitting of parliament/senate. Really great start to the day for CFL.....Hopefully in about an hour or so, we have some REALLY good news to cheer about......

It'll go... Just need that federal exemption to allow the players to cross, but I suspect that'll come pretty easy. If Stampede can get it, the CFL will. Hopefully everyone keeps getting their shots and the numbers keep going down and fans can attend.

I'm not sure if Roussin has said anything on this, but in AB they've mentioned that north of 90% of the cases are either unvaccinated or were within two weeks of their first shot. It's a real statement in support of getting the shot.

I've heard from 2 different season ticket holders that said they've heard it'll be 2 shots and masks for entry, and Jeff Hamilton mentioned in his latest WFP piece that the Bombers would like to do that, if they can. So I wouldn't say it's definite that it "won't be".....

Yeah, everything I've read about Pfizer says 28 days between doses is recommended, and I'm just shy of 8 weeks, so I figure I'm more than good...

and I believe today's announcement regarding the re-openings said there would be 50% capacity allowed by August Long....which would dovetail nicely with this.
