Ya I was gonna say earlier that 8f anyone waited because of potential AZ side effects, they weren't right.... They were dumb. Far FAR greater risk of getting covid than from any potential side effect. Anyone who didnt drop everything and do everything in their power to get the first vaccine available to them is just really really dumb.

I think you need a federally mandated situation whereby you're not allowed in public if you haven't had the shot. No stores, no restaurants....nothing indoors besides your own home. That is what sends the message.

I disagree. People shouldn't have the right to choose to put others in danger. Kids can't get vaccinated and there are people with legitimate health conditions that prevent vaccination. Nobody has the right to choose to put them at risk. Vaccines should absolutely be mandatory.

I was hosting a Morning Show at that time, and had gone to bed at half time (ugh to early morning alarms). I was driving to work and the news cast talked about the Bombers winning, and what the final score was, and that was it. When I got to work, my News Director at the time was just going berserk. He'd grabbed the clip of Irving's call (we were an affiliate on the Bombers Radio Network at the time) and was using it as the lead for that day's sports all day. I couldn't believe I'd missed it. Friggin' morning shows.....

I can tell ya for a fact that sales of recreational toys like camper trailers and boats have gone through the roof. 2021 boats sold out in the spring and they've been booking 2022s for awhile now. Everyone couldn't travel so they bought toys.

My wife is deathly afraid of being house poor, which is a big part of why we decided to stay in our first house and not upgrade to something fancier. I was convinced by the idea of paying it off by the time I'm 50 and then spend my last 10 or 15 good working years paying for a retirement place. Holy **** we got off topic in this thread.......ha ha ha. If anyone ever wanted to start a real estate thread over in Gen Forum and transfer all this stuff, I'd gladly keep that ball rolling. I am mildly obsessed with Manitoba real estate listings..

it's WILD......again, I live on Realtor.ca and follow the MB housing market very closely. I love that area around Oak Bluff, and my sister's down in Lorette, so I follow the various French-Catholic communities south of the city closely......the prices are insane. I can't figure out how people are paying for it...unless everyone just has multiple jobs. Never mind both parents working...you need both parents working two jobs each.
