  1. Yeah! Like, why not prepare for the worst and hope for the best? Is that not the smartest thing to do always??
  2. I'm baffled by this attitude of "Ugh....fake news....what storm??" Some people are just so much cooler than everyone else...
  3. No, no.... We don't ever bring in receivers. Only Calgary... The best CFL organization of all time..... The genius John Hufnagel is the only one who does.
  4. 6'1" - 185lbs https://wkusports.com/sports/football/roster/lucky-jackson/1851
  5. at 2019 GC in YYC..... a very very nice man!
  6. buddy of mine in Waverly West says 20cm so far and still coming down.... stay safe, fam...
  7. Yeah, it's way before my time, but just based on all the reading I've done over the years, Jack Jacobs gets overlooked way too often. He revolutionized the passing game not just in Winnipeg, but in the CFL....
  8. Stay safe everyone...following this closely from 2 provinces over. Hope everyone makes it through unscathed and the banks of the ol' Red don't overflow as badly as 25 years ago...
  9. Having covered the AB section of the '21 federal election quite extensively, I can tell you that the CPC lost a considerable chunk of the vote to the PPC. I don't know about other jurisdictions, but in AB, the PPC were a major problem. With PP in charge of CPC, they would absolutely steal that vote back again, because PP is as crazy as Mad Max.
  10. Ploen has 4 GCs in 5 appearances. He is the unquestioned #1 and Dieter Brock is not right there with him....
  11. The thing Pollievre is gonna do is take back any support Mad Max and the PPC had. If the Cons don't lose that PPC support last fall, do they defeat Trudeau? Quite possibly. It sickens me, but it's maybe not their worst course of action.
  12. One of the funniest humans ever. His work on Comedy Central roasts (in particular, Bob Saget and Rosanne roasts) is among the hardest I've ever laughed in my life.
  13. According to 17to85, there's a discussion on CFL Reddit about top 5 QBs for each franchise, and this has led to discussion in our group chat about the Bombers Top 5 QBs all time.... And it's a tougher decision than you realize. How do you rank sustained success vs short term? A guy like Collaros hasn't been here long but has had a lot of success. Khari and Dunigan had a ton of success but no cups. Glenn was a MOP until Eiben. Etc etc etc. I think, for us, its: Ploen Jacobs Brock Khari Collaros (Clements, Burgess, Dunigan, Glenn all right there, too....)
  14. how did anyone ever do anything without people thinking they're smarter than everyone else and telling them about it constantly? So crazy.
  15. Yeah, that was my first thought...there is no way the Riders don't take local kid Zerr in the 1st round. There would be a lynch mob.
  16. Marshall Ferguson with his first Mock for next months draft....
  17. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/04/12/blue-bombers-add-canadian-linebacker-eric-mezzalira/?fbclid=IwAR3vrAoKXFQTFn3rS34ivQFwvgiEMNyNlziiynnQEByJIjgkpJtvpAjXvLE WINNIPEG, MB., April 12, 2022 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed Canadian linebacker Eric Mezzalira. Mezzalira (6-0, 225, McMaster University; born: March 10, 1994 in Hamilton, ON) joins the Blue Bombers after two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders (2018-19) as well as spending last year on the practice roster of the Toronto Argonauts. He has appeared in 22 Canadian Football League regular-season games, all with the Stampeders, and has registered 11 special-teams tackles and one fumble recovery. He was also a member of Calgary’s 2018 Grey Cup championship team in his rookie season. Mezzalira was selected by the Stampeders in the second round, 17th overall, in the 2018 CFL Draft. He played in 28 games over four seasons (2014-17) at McMaster, accumulating 95.5 total tackles including 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two pass breakups. He led the Marauders with 43 tackles in 2017.
  18. https://3downnation.com/2022/04/12/john-hodges-2022-cfl-mock-draft-2-0/ 9. Winnipeg Blue Bombers — OL Cyrille Hogan-Saindon, Laval The 24-year-old was an RSEQ all-star at centre for the Rouge et Or in 2021 and fills a need for Winnipeg along the interior of their offensive line. Laval offensive linemen have plummeted down draft boards in recent years due to injury problems, but Hogan-Saindon is looking to reverse that trend. 18. Winnipeg Blue Bombers — DL Anthony Federico, Queen’s The six-foot-four, 240-pound defender lacks the size to be an every-down player at defensive tackle in the CFL, but I could see him excelling in a rotational role in Winnipeg. The Blue Bombers lost Jonathan Kongbo to the NFL this off-season and need to add depth along the defensive line wherever they can get it. 38. Winnipeg Blue Bombers — DB Daniel Valente, Western The U Sports first-team all-Canadian lack elite size and speed but certainly fits Winnipeg’s mold with high character and football intelligence.
  19. He's been mostly terrible, out-kicking his coverage, since coming back from the NFL. I don't really have any use for him, unless he's at the league minimum just to come in and compete with Legghio at camp...
  20. I ******* hate this province most days. Praying Notley does away with them next summer but we'll see. She's leading now but there's a long way to go....
  21. 30-80cm possible they're saying.... My Christ, that is going suck for you guys. Wishing you a lot of patience and strength.
  22. That was Naylor and Lalji, more than anyone....
