Mezzalira (6-0, 225, McMaster University; born: March 10, 1994 in Hamilton, ON) joins the Blue Bombers after two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders (2018-19) as well as spending last year on the practice roster of the Toronto Argonauts. He has appeared in 22 Canadian Football League regular-season games, all with the Stampeders, and has registered 11 special-teams tackles and one fumble recovery. He was also a member of Calgary’s 2018 Grey Cup championship team in his rookie season. Mezzalira was selected by the Stampeders in the second round, 17th overall, in the 2018 CFL Draft. He played in 28 games over four seasons (2014-17) at McMaster, accumulating 95.5 total tackles including 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two pass breakups. He led the Marauders with 43 tackles in 2017. -

https://3downnation.com/2022/04/12/john-hodges-2022-cfl-mock-draft-2-0/ 9. Winnipeg Blue Bombers — OL Cyrille Hogan-Saindon, Laval The 24-year-old was an RSEQ all-star at centre for the Rouge et Or in 2021 and fills a need for Winnipeg along the interior of their offensive line. Laval offensive linemen have plummeted down draft boards in recent years due to injury problems, but Hogan-Saindon is looking to reverse that trend. 18. Winnipeg Blue Bombers — DL Anthony Federico, Queen’s The six-foot-four, 240-pound defender lacks the size to be an every-down player at defensive tackle in the CFL, but I could see him excelling in a rotational role in Winnipeg. The Blue Bombers lost Jonathan Kongbo to the NFL this off-season and need to add depth along the defensive line wherever they can get it. 38. Winnipeg Blue Bombers — DB Daniel Valente, Western The U Sports first-team all-Canadian lack elite size and speed but certainly fits Winnipeg’s mold with high character and football intelligence. -

He's been mostly terrible, out-kicking his coverage, since coming back from the NFL. I don't really have any use for him, unless he's at the league minimum just to come in and compete with Legghio at camp... -
I ******* hate this province most days. Praying Notley does away with them next summer but we'll see. She's leading now but there's a long way to go....

30-80cm possible they're saying.... My Christ, that is going suck for you guys. Wishing you a lot of patience and strength.

That was Naylor and Lalji, more than anyone.... -
I've been following Bart's Tweets very closely, as I'm fascinated by the Red being bone dry south of the city last summer, and overflowing this spring. I'm a fishing obsessive, and the impact of all of this on the fishery is so interesting....

He's basically an internet troll, when it comes to CFL stuff, but he knows it and leans into it, I think.... -

In my defense, all I said was "oh boy".....with no real intention behind it. More than anything, I thought it was a very typical headline chosen by 3DN...... -

100% this. I'm the biggest CFL fan you'll ever meet, just as some of you are, but I don't need a guy that's always pumping their tires. I just want the honest truth, and more often than not, Madani presents that. Does he have a negative tone, largely due to a poor relationship with Ambrosie? Yes, and that gets tiresome, but he DOES break news and he's yet to be deliberately dishonest about his insider info, from all that I can tell. -
You know what's awesome about that picture? Look at that helmet and the war(s) that it's been through........

I don't know anything about American players, but based on the stuff the Bombers are tweeting out, this is apparently a big deal......?? -
I can't understand how that is even possible, but maybe because the 4th never ended when the 5th picked up....and we were never really out of the 5th when the 6th picked up steam. Governments across the country (especially Con ones) are killing as many people as necessary in order to not inconvenience the mouth breathing base....

Flex Packs didn't work for us as not enough Saturday game options. Our work sched is too tight for Thursday or Friday games. One of these years I will, tho, just to support the team. With single game tix on sale as of today, we just bought for the home opener. We're home again in August and will do the same for that game. I love the view from 226....

Anecdotal evidence but 3 people in my staff of 12 have now had it. Only 1 that's not boosted (he's younger and just became eligible) and only that person had really bad symptoms. Otherwise very healthy... High level athlete in a couple sports.... But Omi knocked the **** out of him for two weeks. The two with 3x dose were relatively mild. Head colds for no more than a week.

So, speaking of "Countdown To Kickoff..." Just picked up our tix for the home opener on June 10th vs Ottawa. Already had the flights booked, so now we're all set. Going to be a hell of a weekend, with some brewery touring and maybe even wet a line in the river while we're home. Counting down the days, indeed......

I will never forget that the Stamps tried to **** everything up. I unfortunately have to give them money any time the Bombers play in YYC, but I will never a penny on anything else that goes to the Stamps. -
