Taking into account that today's players are far superior athletes, the 21 D would almost completely shut down the 02 O. I still feel like Milt would find a way.... He always found a way.

I only mentioned it because earlier this year on a CJOB pre game show when he was on, he mentioned that he didn't want to be in that role for very long. I think he actually said "I didn't want to be on THIS long, so we'll see..." Not sure this season did him any favours in terms of bargaining. He was good when healthy, but not staying healthy should bring the price tag down. .

One thing DT and crew talked about, too, was Osh getting a statue, and that's gotta be a virtual lock at this point. Just a matter of where they put it.

I think the Riders will be looking for more of a proven commodity after the recent mess of Dickenson and crew. I'm not sure who that is, but after this year, Buck will have had exactly 1.5 years as an OC. Not quite sure he's got enough experience to be a HC yet. I'd peg him as an heir apparent to Osh someday. What do you guys think about the future of the hierarchy? Walters takes on Wade's gig, Osh to GM and Buck to HC..... Does any of that make sense? Not sure either Walters or Osh want to be a Pres or GM (respectively). Gotta think they like their current roles. But I'm legit curious about what happens in the future...

Just for starters, Duke Williams hasn't been particularly good, let alone "elite", since he came back from the NFL. He's heavy, slow and prone to drops.

Edm offered him a blank cheque to be HC/GM and run his own show entirely on his own with no oversight and he turned it down. I'm pretty confident he'll be back, along with Kyle, with some spiffy earned raises. The one I wonder about is Wade. He's said he doesn't want to be in that role forever, so I'm curious when he steps aside and who takes over.

Finally watched the game this morning. On initial viewing, felt the Riders were truly awful moreso than the Bombers were great. Our Man Tait raving about Holm and Parker in his post game piece, but man I thought those two got picked on BAD last night. Sure they had lots of tackles.... They were constantly targeted for good reason. Woof. Offense went to sleep for long stretches and then randomly wakes up in the 4th.... Just wildly inconsistent. On ST, was that the worst game Grant has played as a Bomber?? Anyhow.... 1. Schoen. Cooper Kupp 2.0? 2. BA37 is starting to feel it again. 3. Legghio punted well and yes the tackle was fab. HH - The Bombers and CFL for everything indigenous related yesterday. Absolutely LOVED the calls in Ojibway, and all the indigenous culture being showcased. Amazing.
