I absolutely don't like or understand the defensive roster........ but Jesus Christ, I'm not hoping for Edmonton to win just to prove a point. We spent enough time in the dark ages begging for wins. I'll take 'em no matter what the roster is. Just find a way to win, by any means necessary..... even with a sub par use of roster. Also think there's a LOT going on behind the scenes that we don't know about and would likely explain some of the more curious decisions.

Yeah, there's a lot of "yikes" on that roster. I just don't understand not rostering Kyrie Wilson when Clements is injured. That seems like a natural move, unless he's just not game-ready yet. Count me as also terrified of gifting the LOLKs their first win in forever...

Fwiw, Farhan figures the LOLks can get by the rest of the year with Geroy as GM and bumping up assistants in the coaching ranks. Gotta get the Jones stink outta there fast.

Really glad you seeked out help. You have been through an unimaginable hell and there's no shame reaching out for help. I've been on various sleep cocktails for 5 years now and they're a literal lifesaver. Quetiapene has been a common helper, but Clonazepam has its moments as well. Whatever it takes to get a good night's sleep and see the world through clear, logical eyes.

So on this topic... The only reason I still live in AB (actually just turned down a job offer in Brandon) is because my wife - an only child - is the sole caregiver for her mother, who has MS and is in a care home at only 66. My wife needs to be in AB to take her mother to appointments and such. The MIL has been there the past 10ish years and recently had to move to an extended care floor as the MS worsens and she has less function. All this to say that you never know how many days you've got on the clock. Stay as healthy as you can and live every day to the fullest. The pandemic kicked my ass and I gained a pile of weight. I stopped drinking and cut out junk in January and dropped about 50lbs as of July. Hoping to lose another 10-15 and I'll be where I want. As much as I miss beer and the occasional evening whiskey, I'm much healthier, both physically and mentally (tied together very tightly!!) and living a much better/happier life.

He's on TSN virtually every game. Mike can speak more to Ray's disappearance from the boards as they're very close, but I believe he said Ray just isn't into the boards anymore. Fun to know that he and his wife, the former Lil Blue 85 from OB.com, were both regulars over there. Great people, both....

Was recently talking with an in-law who is a staunch CPC supporter and he was adamant that JPT will continue to get elected because there's more of Canada that equate with "his values" than there are who equate to PP and the CPC. He openly said he wished more of Canada believed what they believe in the small town Canadian prairies, but... For now, the votes are with the progressives. Personally, I hope he's right....
