  1. 14 points from special teams and 7 from the defense.... so yeah the offense didn't do a ton to help the cause.
  2. yeah streveler is much better at getting the ball out quicker and gives the shorter passes a chance.... Collaros throws ints like they're going out of style intermediate these days too and sure maybe he throws a better deep ball... but I'm not so sure that's true these days either. Both qbs have the same problems, either they both suck (maybe) but more likely there's a pile of other problems going on too.
  3. I completely disagree with that assertation. The fact that both our qbs are struggling with pressure and finding receivers with separation leads me to believe the problems are less QB related and more everything else is a problem
  4. Need a change on the interior of the OL. I dunno which one first but someone.... need some receivers other than Demski who can make a play. Stearns is OK but not a top 2 type guy. Need some play calls that work with what they have... so yeah there's problems on O. Mitchell sits for this? aye yi yi.
  5. He got sacked and threw some ints... same as collaros has been doing. honestly I feel a **** load more confident with streveler over collaros... but when you got Demski and Stearns as your only reliable receivers and an OL that's less than adequate what the **** is going to do? especially with an OC with training wheels on.
  6. Ol sucks, receivers suck, OC sucks... why dress colley if all he's going to do is **** up kick returns? Defense looked much better (bonds aside). Vaval a nice redemption game. So yeah... quit ******* around on offense already. Give your qbs a chance.
  7. What did Mike think of collaros performance the last few weeks?
  8. Given his comments about his time in Saskatchewan and how much he hated the offense there I'd agree. He knows how to play one way and that's all he wants to do.
  9. Yeah I'm not gonna pretend to know everything, but I do know that we've dressed guys who haven't taken a single snap in a game, I know situations like hecht at safety... Hurl at MLB... these guys don't always dress the best. Guys like kolankowski I'd be trying damned hard to replace rather than them being bullet proof as one example.
  10. But do we know the talent isn't there if the coaches don't use it? This still comes back to your assumption that the coaches are playing the best guys they have... which is hugely flawed as evidenced by numerous situations in the past 11 years of Mike O'Shea's tenure as head coach.
  11. So you're just shifting all the blame onto the gm... where will you shift it if the changes improve things? Because all these guys being moved about are already in house. What will it take for you to admit that the coaches are part of the problem in talent identification and use? It's ok, Mike oshea is rightly going to be remembered as an absolute ******* legend as a bomber coach and first ballot bomber hall of gamer and probably a statue at some point... but we can still point out his problems in the meantime.
  12. But people said before even seeing it shake out that Bridges was gonna be a bad choice... no hindsight required. What makes you think people can't make similar judgements at other positions? And that's exactly what coaches and gms get paid to do. So why do ours resist making these obvious changes? 1/3rd of the season to make changes people here said should happen on day 1... not a great look.
  13. How dare you question professional coaches and their ability to judge talent.
  14. I'd take a DL of garbutt, fox, adams and person over what we have now... without question. Thomas at his best was a rotational piece and his best is long gone, Jefferson used to be one of the very best but he no longer is, vaughters is fine and Lawson is fine but they're not exactly game breakers either. This idea that oshea is just the beat at building a roster is laughable. Not to say Booch has it all right or anything like that, but oshea has some blindspots when it comes to roster usage. That's been demonstrated for over a decade now.
  15. Biggest issue is that the only depth at receiver is Cobb... that seems like playing with fire. Kramdi at safety is maybe a concern but maybe his brain will help get the assignments right? I dunno. Tbd. Lot of the non-injury changes I am fine with.
  16. Be fair, they are all cfl receivers... just where's the top end guys.
  17. Just ridiculous that Bridges got 6 games before being yanked. Everyone saw that being a bad move in preseason.
  18. Changing players sooner would have avoided some of these results. That's all we're saying. Look I know osh ain't getting fired this year, but we can talk about blame here all we want.
  19. This isn't a democracy... majority of fan opinions don't change the teams performance. Know what else hurts fan engagement? Looking like complete ass on field and losing games.
  20. The buck stops with the head coach ultimately. If his coordinators are pushing for subpar roster usage coach needs to set it right.
  21. Just ******* put Mitchell in. He's a guy the team targeted in FA, you don't jerk around with things like this. Play the dude and if he sucks you can always cut him.
  22. Also gotta take into account that when streveler has come in the last couple games it's been in a hole with things not working already. So how much is garbage time and how much is having to try and dig out of a hole (more risks, etc etc)
  23. My thoughts were keep brown and let he and streveler figure out who the man was. Trade collaros for assets (and let's be honest Ottawa was desperate and probably would have loved to get collaros at the time). You save money on qb position and can bolster other areas of the team. Would brown have been injured here? Who knows. Different team different circumstances.
  24. Don't give osh ideas
