Look we all love O'Shea and he's a bloody legend... But he's got blinders for some things and being here for well over a decade... The message might need adjustment

Yeah collaros has never been the quick short game qb. In his prime he compensated by being able to move around and escape pressure. That ability has left him and he is too easy to disrupt through pressure right now Nothing at all? Not the complete inability to handle a blitz? Not the complete inability to get a first down through the first quarter, or more, of the game? Not the complete lack of effort by some players? I'd suggest you look harder and not just at the scoreboard. Saskatchewan gave them that game and Winnipeg refuses to take it.

We remember the 2nd quarter pants shitting vs Edmonton.... We saw that Saskatchewan gave us every opportunity to take that game and we failed to do it.... The team is basically in a situation where they are not winning the games they need to win to secure their place in the standings. End of the season it does not really matter if you lost close games if you don't actually accomplish anything.

So if we don't have a true number one i would rather go with 4 2/3s and a 5 than 3 2/3a and 2 5s......

Yeah but that makes too much sense.... Here's how I look at it, sports and real jobs share a lot of similarity in leadership. The coaches job is to make sure the players are given what they need to succeed. That means preparing them properly, using their talents in the best way possible... I will compare it to my workplace... 2 years ago we had experienced field people, they didn't need much management, it was here's the job and they knew how to do it. Now with some departures there's less experience so more hands on management is required. Extra preparation, more thought about ok can this person actually do this or do I need to use someone else... I think this is where our coaches are falling short. I think they're still treating it like it's 2021 and Bighill and co. Are going to handle a lot of that themselves.

Unless coaching is being counted as 3 separate issues it absolutely is a top 5 problem on offense....

5th receiver ain't making a difference is such a disingenuous argument.... If you got a guy there who can make plays it forces the defense to account for them which should give the other guys more space. When you're trying to do receivers by committee why the **** handicap yourself with a backup level Canadian starting?

On the other hand a few wins against Western opponents and we're in... Which isn't so far fetched. Couple plays go the other way wins against Edmonton and Saskatchewan were there for the taking in recent weeks.

If you can't block with max protect then don't run it and hit guys quick in open space? Sounds like a coaching adjustment... So then coach him to be quicker or replace him with the backup qb you have who can get the ball out quicker

It applies to everyone. If you can't deal with a blitz at this level your team is unprepared. Look how ineffective bomber blitzes are. The opposition reads it and knows where an option is going to be.

Yes.... It's the coaches job to put the best players they have available on the roster and put them in positions to get the most out of what they do have... I mean we've seen way way worse offensive lines have better results than these guys get sometimes. Tommy Condell is not giving this team the options needed or coaching his quarterback to actually find the options that should be there to beat a blitz. The players play football the coaches play chess against the opposite coach. The way the offense folds with a blitz is absolutely a coaching issue.

I'll give Daniels some time to grow into a pro.... However that growing is as a special Teamer or pr player not as a regular. We've given chris-ike that development path, let's see if he can make some plays cause he's got some burst to him

Daniels getting dropped in his tracks by one guy, woodbey with a love tap on a receiver to not push him out, neild not being able to catch in traffic, the OL getting blown up constantly... Just soft soft soft.

yeah woodbey has been complete ass all season long. inexplicable that he gets so much rope. and singer immediately looks like a contributer but can't put him on the roster sooner because reasons... make it make sense.
