  1. I mean collaros is on pace to set career highs in interceptions this season too and he's been concussed 3 times already this season... not exactly high praise for all the rest of the offense right? And this is a guy not far removed from a perennial MOP contender. I'm telling you, both qbs ate being handed a heaping helping of ****.
  2. I disagree that collaros has looked light years better to be honest. Collaros looks like crap in this offense too, and even when he does look good, the offense is still largely ineffective, but people fall all over themselves to make excuses for it because collaros is infallible because of what happened in 2019 and 2021.
  3. The game? Cause streveler and Oliveira playing bruiser was unlikely to give it away... what would Wilson do? He would be unlikely to have any more success passing than anyone else because of previously noted issues.
  4. All I'm saying is when Brady runs for 2 or 3 on first down they're not going to call a qb draw on 2nd down for collaros so the passing numbers automatically go down. And he had drives end because of drops which were catchable. People are real quick to just **** on Streveler because it's the simple thing to do. Our offense though is fundamentally broken no matter who's at qb. Streveler looked the best as a rookie before coaches decided that he should be a runner who can throw.
  5. Your also not going to be expecting collaros to run and block as much as streveler so this is a silly argument to make. Yeah that's an option too. The simplest explanation though is simply that the receiver was on the wrong spot because who designs a play to put a receiver and a db in the way of someone else? To me if Wilson takes his route deeper into the endzone that's probably a td pass.
  6. You really think that was streveler and not Wilson being in the wrong spot bringing a db right into Wheatfalls path?
  7. He got jobbed by the accidental pi. Was open, throw was good. Should have been a big confidence inspiring play. Instead it was a 10 yard penalty
  8. More than OL? More than OC? More than receivers?
  9. Yeah but first pass of the game was on target, receiver dropped it. He had a nice shot to demski downfield but it wasn't a catch because the db tripped demski... Wilson could have made another catch. Wheatfall getting KOed i addressed earlier. That was not a qb problem there. There are huge problems with this team, qb isn't the biggest problem.
  10. He's barely allowed to pass and the offense is **** with collaros too.... is collaros better passer? Sure but the same problems exist with both guys and I honestly believe on the list of problems with the offense qb is the last one. Scheme and play calling suck, OL sucks, receivers are mid at best. What's a qb supposed to do?
  11. Yes? Sink or swim and quit this smartest guy in the room crap. Hand off to Brady on first, qb draw on 2nd. Great ******* plan. Let streveler run the same offense Zach gets and see what happens. People seem to forget collaros has big int totals this year too AND has been concussed 3 times because he gets no blocking too. This offense sucks and qb IMO is the last reason it sucks.
  12. I don't know how they can look at thia game and stick with Hogan calling the offense... Brown threw 2 picks and Ottawa kept letting him throw. Streveler threw one into the shadows (brown had one in the same spot too) and suddenly he looks like he's been told not to throw unless a guy is 20 yards open. Receivers put catchable balls on the turf too... and on the pass wheatfall got clocked on, I blame that on whoever decided Wilson should be there. Dragged a db right into the way to allow that hit to happen. If it was designed for him to be there more shame on Hogan but most likely Wilson was just in the wrong spot.
  13. Hogan sucks. That is all
  14. Got a TL:DR for those not watching the pregame?
  15. Pessimists. There's nothing wrong with this team that can't be addressed in short order... the question is whether they'll do what is necessary.
  16. Terrible playcall that has been picked before because defenses know it's coming. If Hogan pulls that crap out again he needs to be fired on the spot because not only is it easy picking for the defense but there's no one to stop the return going to the house. Dumb playcall period.
  17. I honestly think it's purely age and Willie can't go all out and because he can do the knockdown thing he does that to still be useful. Honestly they should split reps more than they do and let him occasionally put the fear of god into a qb.
  18. Best we can do is line Thomas up at end.
  19. Stupid is as stupid does
  20. Well both those guys got better results with similar players so yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say Hogan is a clear step down from those guys. Lapos problem was entirely playcalling and knowing when to be conservative and when to go for it. He is a good football mind and did have a real nice playbook. Pierce similarly has run some good offenses in the past. Hogan though... he's got no accolades and defenses are not fooled in the least by what he's trying to do.
  21. Kelly for hallet is fine and Parker going on for injured griffin is about the best you can hope for.... but man they gotta stop pretending what they're doing on the DL works.
  22. Well they certainly like to think they are... So here's the thing, people revere engineers but most engineers can't think outside the box and are pretty rigid thinkers, goes back to the math.
  23. Engineering is math... engineers are nothing more than calculators.
  24. Either way, reactions will be...
