  1. Wpg Blue Bombers ✔ @Wpg_BlueBombers @MorningBigBlue we'll give details on access for fans that plan on attending in the coming days, stay tuned!
  2. Live stream sounds great to me! Just make sure that it's Pied Piper doing the live stream and not those bums at Hooli...
  3. I am a fan of baseball but in the past few years I find I can only stomach a few innings and then I can't take it anymore. Just not enough action.
  4. At camp in 2013 I woulda ranked him 2nd behind only Buck... Buck, Yantz, Hall, Goltz, Chase something (I forget the guy's name) ... then again, there wasn't much to be excited about that year... Chase Clement.
  5. yes it would be hard to top Kito Poblah all right. His career so far has been Etienne-esque... Count me in on the band waggoner...
  6. Boy do I wish this wasn't a typo...
  7. Women's soccer - there's literally going to be tens of fans there. Wow this sucks.
  8. I am not saying that he's not good. I am saying that he was incredibly tired and didn't appear to really be in the game. Playing a full NHL season, and then two 7 game rounds of playoffs, and then flying half way across the world to jump on the ice with Russia was probably too much for him. Anyway, just asked the question. I wouldn't have taken Crosby in that condition. Maybe he goes to Russia for summer. Where-ever he goes, I want to go there too!

  10. Kirk Penton @PentonKirk The #Bombers have released Canadian defensive back Shea Pierre. #CFL
  11. PENNHSFootball @pennhsfootball BREAKING: The death of Adrian Robinson, @CuatroTres, was suicide by hanging. http://ow.ly/N6J25
  12. CFL News @CFL_News Adrian Robinson Jr. was killed by gunfire in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
  13. well that's it then, we're done worrying about the LB position.
  14. Yeah pretty much my feeling too. Greaves stays healthy while Neufeld is Cory Watson-esque in his durability. I would hate to see Greaves go unless Kyle can pull off a major fleecing ala Chevy getting Myers and Stafford. I used the Jets as I don't have a CFL equivalent to point to, other than maybe the Ricky Ray to Toronto trade?
  15. I was watching a bit of the Blue Jays-Houston Astros this weekend - man those stands in Houston looked empty. It was embarrassing.
  16. I was watching it live yesterday and saw a lot of the Russians leaving after they got their medals, and I was thinking...hmmm...is that normal? And then I remembered no, it's not normal. It's a total **** move by sore losers. I can't imagine how embarrassed I would be if Canada had done something like that. Apparently Kovalchuk was the one waving everyone off the ice, though a few Russians did stay. Kovalchuk can rot with Burmi in Siberia for the rest of his career, for all I care. I don't want any Russians on the Jets, ever. EDIT:
  17. It will come down to which Menno wants it more. Yuf em gout boys!
  18. Why did Ovie bother coming over for two games? He looked totally bagged today.
  19. Hellebuyck out duels Pavs with the shut out to win bronze. Training camp preview. Good job both goalies.
  20. What do the T-Birds draw for junior games? What arena do they play out of? The Kelowna Rockets started out as the Tacoma Rockets, and apparently they played in the 22,000 seat Tacoma Dome, but apparently it was a terrible venue for hockey. The Tacoma Rockets didn't draw well so they moved the team here, and it's done phenomenally well here. Anyway, not sure hockey would work in Seattle. I wouldn't want to try it anyway.
  21. Just think, if he hadn't had that steak and cheese sub toasted...
  22. Spoken like someone who has never had to endure an NDP government. You are applying logic and reason to radical zealots. I agree that the smart thing to do is slow and steady and do nothing stupid/radical to change how things are done in Alberta. But this is the NDP. They don't understand cause and effect, or consequences. You raise taxes dramatically, it causes all of this money to flow in, right? That's what their college professors told them anyway. Few if any of them have run a business or participated in real life outside of cosy union jobs or government-funded academia. So yes, I would hope that Notley moves slow. She seems to have a level head. It's her 50 or so radical MLA's that she will have to try and control. Good luck with that.
