  1. I have been saying all offseason they needed to come up big in the receiver department this offseason because last year the receivers were not good enough. Having to use Kelly and Romby Bryant was a handicap on the O. Let's hope these new faces work out. Yeah, things were pretty grim at times last year. Other than Denmark, when Moore was out of the line-up there wasn't much for Willy to throw to, other than sure-hands Kohlert.
  2. and more importantly, is anyone who played in the CIS listening to Buck Pierce today? Or is everyone still ignoring him?
  3. Yeah. That's one of the reasons I liked Ted Dibase (The Million Dollar Man). His conversations always flowed to how much money he needed to spend to win a match. He was an old wrestler/villain I despised, but yet was very entertained by. As for the state of radio in Winnipeg...
  4. I am not ready to anoint him #1. I am however, ready to predict Brohm will be a surprise cut this year. I really like Marve's poise in that game in Calgary last year. And you can't tell me that Huffer didn't care about winning that game.
  5. Maybe West hit Richards in the change-room and now they both are injured. WEST!!!!!
  6. Maybe O'Shea wants him to be a player-coach so wants him observing as well as participating.
  7. I think I remember your posts as someone else. Different handle, same NCAA commentary, same trashing of the CIS. We will see how long this handle iteration lasts.
  8. I still remember Henoc's first season. He had a lot of pulls and strains to start the year too, in fact I think he missed the first game or two with injuries. No point working the rookies right into the ground. No point having them miss half the season because they were forced to the limit in camp.
  9. This is why I could never live in the Maritimes. It would drive me insane not being able to watch a lot of the games because of the late start times. BC time zone rules. 4:00 pm and the beer starts flowing as the puck drops on games from out East. Can't beat that.
  10. Hey it's not all bad, we got the Rockets playing for the national championship on TV - that and a lot of rye will make the time go by lickety split.
  11. https://www.keek.com/
  12. Good to hear the Bombers signed another Menno. Only four more to go to fill out the NI starting rotation. Rempel, Neufeld... Goosen? Close enough. Any others? http://mbherald.com/cfl-newbie-family/
  13. Did Twitter even exist in 2006? Good to see you here Colin.EDIT: it was Josh Bishop in 2011.
  14. I appreciate you telling me that. Serenity now!
  15. And wasn't his middle name Costanza? Lived in a van down by the river Craphonzo Costanza Crapinga Foley. That's gold Jerry gold!!! The summer of Crap is born.
  16. I won last year. I went to Tim Horton's with the coupon Nighthawk sent me as the prize and that's when I realized that it was written in crayon. Foiled again!!
  17. That would be awesome if he's even close!
  18. I'd say from reading his long resume of teams he's played with that experience has a lot to do with it. The Bears thought so much of his snapping abilities that they signed him in 2014, though he didn't last long.
