The issue the last time was that it was obvious that the guy wasn't actually at TC, and was just inventing everything. And trying to stir up non-existent issues. If what he is saying this time around is actually happening, then great. I'd like some other posters to verify what he is saying.

Good points. One thing that perhaps is under-stated is how much Walters has done to upgrade the receivers for Willy as well. The crew this year looks to be a lot more dangerous than Romby Bryant and Aaron Kelly. If Nick Moore can stay healthy and play 15 games at least that will go a long way too.

Willy was extremely accurate in the first 7-8 games, and then things fell apart after that. Was he injured? Gun-shy from constantly getting clobbered? I do like a scrambling QB. In the CFL a scrambler can mess up any defence.

Finally someone shows some love for Dan West, but don't fret, he's still on the team. (Wild?) I think he means James West. But I'm not too worried, we still have Graig Battle right? I am hearing good things about a youngster named Tyrone Jones...

I have been saying all offseason they needed to come up big in the receiver department this offseason because last year the receivers were not good enough. Having to use Kelly and Romby Bryant was a handicap on the O. Let's hope these new faces work out. Yeah, things were pretty grim at times last year. Other than Denmark, when Moore was out of the line-up there wasn't much for Willy to throw to, other than sure-hands Kohlert.

Yeah. That's one of the reasons I liked Ted Dibase (The Million Dollar Man). His conversations always flowed to how much money he needed to spend to win a match. He was an old wrestler/villain I despised, but yet was very entertained by. As for the state of radio in Winnipeg...

I am not ready to anoint him #1. I am however, ready to predict Brohm will be a surprise cut this year. I really like Marve's poise in that game in Calgary last year. And you can't tell me that Huffer didn't care about winning that game.

I think I remember your posts as someone else. Different handle, same NCAA commentary, same trashing of the CIS. We will see how long this handle iteration lasts.

I still remember Henoc's first season. He had a lot of pulls and strains to start the year too, in fact I think he missed the first game or two with injuries. No point working the rookies right into the ground. No point having them miss half the season because they were forced to the limit in camp.

This is why I could never live in the Maritimes. It would drive me insane not being able to watch a lot of the games because of the late start times. BC time zone rules. 4:00 pm and the beer starts flowing as the puck drops on games from out East. Can't beat that.

Hey it's not all bad, we got the Rockets playing for the national championship on TV - that and a lot of rye will make the time go by lickety split.
