  1. Either Montreal or Ottawa will fold again and Winnipeg will be back in the East. It's just a matter of time.
  2. That's about all you need.
  3. Is it even mathematically possible? The East plays each other so you'll have at least two teams in the East with records that should be better than the worst team in the West.
  4. Let's hope there's a lot of "Austin Mad Face" in this game. You know it's going well when Angry Kent starts screaming at his QB's.
  5. If you saw his interview last year on TSN when he was in BC (can't remember why he was there) he said that he'd beaten the cancer was ready to get back to work. He also has a teenage son (oooh gross I know) and so still needs to keep working.
  6. I know last year when Johnny Lefever played against us he moved the ball at will. Let's hope this year is different.
  7. http://morningbigblue.com/community/topic/4554-winnipeg-vs-hamilton-discussion-thread/page-6#entry69758
  8. Embarrass who? No one in BC would care. You have to have some pride in your team to give a crap about stuff like that. Now if you said no one could drink a latte or protest a pipeline until they attended a Lions game you'd have a packed house all season.
  9. When you live in BC, especially in the Interior, you get a different perspective. The lower mainland SUCKS!! BC as a whole really has a lot going for it, if we could just start exporting all of the hippies and life-long welfare cases, we'd really be somewhere.
  10. How about this? Nick Moore got in between Jay-Z and his sister-in-law...
  11. Here's the best Number Two scene out there...
  12. This guy would make a great Number Two on any team...
  13. With Brink there seemed to be no shortage of class and work ethic. It was an issue with his wind-up and time to get the ball away.
  14. Hamilton's week is even shorter. I don't get it, why so little time between games? The Bombers get a week before they have to play Sask, and then have just 5 days before the Argo game on Aug 12. Meanwhile, the Argos get a bye-week before that game on Aug 12. Really really fair...
  15. No clue .. I'd even ask .. when did the injury happen? Thought he came out of the game relatively unscathed. Maybe Jay-Z stepped on it.
  16. Other than lowering ticket prices not sure what you can do about it. And that just means fuller stands but the gate revenue stays the same. What we need is some inter-generational attendance, fathers taking sons and daughters, grandparents taking grandkids to games, so the kids can appreciate seeing a game live. In the bigger centers, all you seem to have are hipsters and yuppies, none of whom want to participate in anything unless it is cool or hip. The CFL isn't cool or hip right now in Vancouver or Toronto. A lot of sports are seeing declines in interest. Golf is really going downhill. Kids would rather just sit at home playing video games then going outside and playing or watching a sport. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFEYC4Z44v0
  17. Our tickets for the Lions game were $30 a pop. We were sitting in the Family zone on the second tier. It was actually pretty full. There are no bad seats in that barn. Too bad they can't get more people out. It just pisses me off. Vancouver sucks.
  18. Not really a good trade. I'd rather see Kelly in for Bryant.
  19. Yeah is there a reason that blackouts were lifted? I talked to people on Saturday in Vancouver about the low attendance and they just shrugged and said "I just watched it on TV". So at some point there's going to be only 10,000 people showing up for games as everyone sits at home? I have to say that there is nothing like a game in person, even in a morgue like BC Place with it less than half full.
  20. Perhaps this will lead to less inter-family procreation in Saskatchewan if the males are all preoccupied with Sunseri...
  21. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming It appears Jason Vega will remain out of the #Bombers lineup again this week. Not very involved at all today.
  22. What's sad though is that if the Lions make it to the Grey Cup again this year, BC Place will be full of fake fans decked out in Lions gear that won't have seen a regular season game in person or on TV all season. I saw it in 2011 and it was just pathetic. Most of the "Lion" fans there couldn't name any other player other than maybe Lulay or Geroy.
  23. They should have kept Tempire and imploded BC Place after the Olympics. There seems to be no point to having a stadium that big in Vancouver when no one seems interested in attending any sporting events in that town. What a waste.
