I totally agree with the arguments supporting banning the Confederate flag, but you see what a slippery slope you are on when it is deemed ok to just start banning anything and everything right? I get why the Nazi flag is banned and people freak out if anyone wears a swastika in public, but I don't get why kids run around today with a hammer and sickle flag on their chest. The USSR murdered millions of Ukrainians and Cossacks, and was a terrible repressive regime. If we as a society are arbitrarily deciding to ban all flags that at one time stood for oppression, why stop at just the Confederate flag? Ban all communist flags from the by-gone era as well. And the same argument can be made in support of banning the USSR flag as you just made re Confederate flags - if you disagree, your opinion doesn't count, because you are from Selkirk, not Moscow, so no one cares that you are pissed off if your "cool" Che Guevara T shirt is banned. Commie loser.

Probably 1990. I was watching the 1990 Grey Cup on ESPN classic last night and Ron and Don (Lancaster and Wittman) kept going on about how the Bombers started the season just plain awful that year and then steadily improved and gelled as a team. It would be nice if we could do that again this year. Of course, it helps when your LB corp is made up of Greg Battle, James West, and Tyrone Jones. And you are able to roll with five NI's on the O-line. Man Nick Benjamin was amazing back then. Giant OL, yet routinely he would be the first one down the field on punt returns making the tackle on the returner. I am sure punt coverage schemes have changed since then, but still amazing to me how often a 280 lb lineman was first on the punt returner so often.

We're likely visiting Maui in January.I've been to Maui a few times and always find it relaxing and chilled out. Got invited to the drum circle on the nude beach while i was with my three year old.. Kinda wierd. But.. Maui is a great place to chill out and relax for a couple of weeks.. Last time i was there was november 2013.. Great weather and fun times with the family. Should be going again next winter. We'll be there in November again. Have to find a stream so that I can watch the playoffs.
