  2. I thought at first it was "Heil Atomic".
  3. and let's hope that our winning games becomes a never-ending story...
  4. TBurg post only ONE PAGE earlier: Good grief. This is really getting ridiculous.
  5. You wouldn't have to make it a policy. They are already working the food lines at homeless shelters here. What you should do is make it a policy that all NDP-voting dope-smoking welfare sucking able-bodied men over the age of 18 should get off their lazy arses and go work at homeless shelters. I've got two neighbours I would love to see on a food line helping out the homeless, instead of staring at a video-game screen all day in mommy's basement with a bong glued to their face. Don't be ridiculous. There are plenty of dope-smoking able-bodied men that aren't on welfare. of course there are. They just don't happen to live near me I guess. But if you just want to target "right wing curmudgeons" for work on homeless shelter food lines, why not also target lazy sacks who are able-bodied and just sitting at home self-medicating too?
  6. Just like Friesen's previous article said what you wanted to hear, because it was negative. It wasn't what I wanted to hear actually and I didn't bring it up even once, but don't let the facts get in the way of your hate. Hate? Wow. I don't think Kelowna or anyone actually hates you burg. of course not, but "hate" sounds much more dramatic, especially if you are vying for the title of forum martyr. It was no different during the teachers' strike here in BC last year. If you didn't 100% support every single facet of the BCTF's demands, then somehow you hated all teachers. There was no middle ground. Martyr complex.
  7. well you sure don't, so why shouldn't we be alike in that way?

  9. game starts at 4:00 pm here, which is the regular "cocktail hour" in Kelowna anyway so no big deal for me.... By 4:00 I would be sitting under a tree at Gyro watching the pretty people play volleyball. oh man that was you! I was wondering who was checking me out in my tight jeans! Just stop playing the Top Gun theme while you are perving on us dudes next time would ya?
  10. sounds like you would have made a good candidate for the NDP in the last provincial election in Alberta. Except for the part about making $67/hr. My brother in law was complaining to me that his MLA is now a 24 year old kid who worked at Starbucks and lived in his mom's basement. He didn't have a driver's licence either so mom had to drive him to work and around the riding to campaign. He's going from $11/hr to $140K a year in salary. Gotta love politics.
  11. yeah the Alouettes have a chance tonight....sure...

  15. It is the dawning of the age of Adarius...the age of Adarius....Ad...ar..ius...
  16. Is that allowed? I thought if you have junior eligibility left you have to go back to junior.
  17. Dude - you want to live in Maui. Honolulu is for the tourists!
  18. I wouldn't mind seeing Armia, Petan, Morrissey and De Leo all called up during the season to see what they can do. Lemieux is still eligible for another year of junior no? Same with Ehlers?
  19. he did list "Planet Krypton" as his place of birth.
  20. Looking like a repeat of 1998 and 1999 again. Calgary wins the first match, Hamilton wins the second. Hamilton is looking pretty dominant right now.
  21. I agree, less poles, more Ukrainians!
  22. Yeah, he shouldn't be playing because some here want to argue for the sake of arguing. Kind of like complaining because the Bombers wait until the actual cut-down deadline to announce their cuts.
  23. I saw one guy doing that. And he was extremely funny doing it. Try dumping the eeyore routine once in awhile and try laughing at situations instead of crapping on others who do. You might live longer.
  24. all right, but quite frankly you don't have to be a whiny child about my response either. Your comments mimicked a lot of idiots I see on other forums I post on, who constantly immediately jump on the "ban everything" bandwagon as soon as a few individuals deem something offensive, and the group-think and pressure and guilt being exerted are extreme. I see now you aren't one of those idiots, so I apologize. One of the dumbest "1984" like events took place when a bunch of female celebrities wanted to ban the word "bossy". Just so stupid. And I don't think Mike Bossy liked it too much either. It wasn't received well, thankfully. What scared me about this campaign though was that people somehow think they can just start banning words in our society, because they decide that they are bad. That's not how a free society works, and it's an extremely slippery slope. http://nymag.com/thecut/2014/03/problem-with-the-ban-bossy-campaign.html
