  1. The Lions may have the next Russ Jackson on their hands....as half the members here say.... Ok how about the next Gerry Dattilio? Greg Vavra? Danny Brannagan? OK I give up.
  2. Kenny Lawler!
  3. I'm pretty sure it was Garza. Those are Garza-like stats for sure.
  4. yup just like in the NFL, time for the old guard QB's to give way to the newbies. Going to be some growing pains but fresh blood is always a good thing.
  5. Bum arm Nichols with stupid sexy Flanders and Lapo with all his issues seems to equal zero offence in Ottawa. I was actually pulling for Matty but it appears that he is done. Same goes for Mike "Floater" Reilly. Wow that was hard to watch. Looked like a rec league flag football game where Bob from accounting is suddenly forced to play QB and just starts chucking ducks up on a wing and a prayer. Those throws made some of our old noodle-arm QB's look good.
  6. Not sure there's enough Crown Royal for me to make it through another one of those Ottawa snoozers. Their offence is downright putrid.
  7. Wait...you picked Hamilton??
  8. "Jeffs of Death" - I love it! Do we want to go another round with....Sergio???
  9. Yes There's the Nichols we know so well....
  10. Not sure what this means...
  11. Makes Alexis Serna look like Andrew the Giant!
  12. Ace Left Cluster 764 Vegas Z-Bang Carp was the play call that led to Kenny Lawler's first ever CFL TD, with an important block from the incomparable Daniel Petermann. Side note - I really hope that the live mic thing with TSN is dead now. It added nothing to the viewer experience in my opinion. Another side note - I also wish Daniel Petermann lots of success in Ottawa, he was a warrior for us.
  13. That would be a great domain for a Bomber fan website....
  14. I have been watching the Blue Bombers for four decades, and this will forever be one of my favorite Bomber plays that I will always remember. Thank you Matt for all that you did for us.
  15. Yup. Dom Davis was a horrible QB. How is that guy still in the CFL? Also remember being on the field after the Bombers miracle comeback against Darian Durant and the Alouettes in 2017. A whole bunch of Bombers came out to take pictures with fans, meanwhile the Fever just sprinted out of there and wouldn't talk to anyone. What a giant tool that guy was.
  16. Shielded in what way? Was he checking his Insta at the time?
  17. I was hoping Nichols would be playing. I want to see what he can do. I was a fan of Nichols when he was here for sure, but I'm a lot happier now with the Zach attack. I do wish Nichols and Lapo the best, and it would be great if the one time we play them this year is in the Grey Cup. Much rather lay a beat down on Ottawa than have to play those sad-sack Ti-Cats again lol....
  18. I don't think BC is really the team to do that....but it would be nice to see old Fajardo running for his life all game, would make the game much more entertaining, that's for sure.
  19. Was that on Lawler's TD or another time? They did flag the PI on his TD IIRC (much CR consumed by that point...)...
  20. That was 1983 amigo. Or Dunigan for that matter. I was disappointed that he cut his hair and went back to the non-threatening Zach look. I liked his angry biker thing he had going during training camp...lol
  21. yup - the comparative came to me on that miracle throw to Darvin in the end zone in 2019 against Calgary. I honestly thought that I was watching Tom Clements in the flesh. He's the only other QB I've ever seen that could have made that throw, other than maybe Dunigan.
  22. I guess you didn't watch a lot of Hamilton games when he was the starter eh? LOL I hated it when we had to play against him.
  23. I remember being at a Bomber game in Calgary back in the 1990's - I think Kerwin Bell was our QB at the time - and Jayson D. was on the Bomber sideline. I was on the Bomber side so I had a good view of the bench. It was a hot night in Calgary (pretty rare occasion) and I see Jayson standing on the sideline with the team, and then I see him just suddenly fall over backwards and pass out from the heat. Never seen that before!
