Pretty sure I had hypothermia after the 2000 Grey Cup game in Calgary. I've survived a lot of cold weather growing up in Southern Manitoba but that was something else. Unfortunately that experience made me not want to go to the Cup in 2019 and I will always regret that.

MBT broke the rules, but he broke them with the Argos' full consent. The Argos sent him to a Raptors game to basically tell Raptors fans that Toronto has a football team, and hey, they are playing in a pretty important game on Sunday so maybe instead of buying that 4th $150 Raptors jersey or paying $75 for popcorn and a beer you might want to slap down $20 for a playoff ticket for our game. I realize that this was in contravention of COVID policy and not very well thought out, but I also get that the Argos do zero marketing of their team and have almost no fans. It's a tough one.

Last regular season game of 1981, Bombers were destroying Calgary, Goodlow and Brock are trying to get to 100 receptions for the year. The game was so lop-sided that my dad made us leave to beat the traffic, but then I forced him to watch the 100th catch of the year by Goodlow from Brock through the fence, not sure where we were outside the stadium. I didn't want to miss the historic record! That 1981 Bomber team was pretty dominant, still not sure how we choked in the WSF against BC that year. Not that it mattered given no one was going to beat Edmonton with Warren Moon at the helm.
