I'm lost. Why does everyone think us being optimistic about this week is being optimistic about improvements? 
We were 11-7 last year. Our opponent was a dumpster fire.

yea I agree. at the time, I didn't see that it was as treatment for his ADHD so this was a bit of a stretch upon further review.. tho, if you say it like Mike Tyson, still funny.. 
 
either way, you'd have thought an athlete would know what he can and cannot be putting into his body, especially considering something that contains amphedamines..

To be fair I only jumped on the band wagon cause making sure Rider fans know that they don't know what the **** they're talking about is just plain fun. 

The play would not automatically be dead.  It would if he scored, but he didn't.  You can't say with certainty that it would have been Sask ball on the one.  Either way, a loss is a loss, except for a Rider loss.  Those are the king of losses.

I snorted right out loud....was a good line. 
As for the game, reffing/replay aside, it was at least exciting. Two teams I absolutely despise, but I enjoyed watching it purely for entertaining CFL football.

Sorry.  The ball is touching him, but he does not have possession.  Touching the ball and having possession is not the same thing.

The ball turns sideways before it crosses the plane of the goal line. To me, that would indicate that the ball is not firmly held.
 
 

The default position is to go with the call on the field if there isn't irrefutable evidence to overturn it. I'm guessing that's what they did for both calls last night. Personally, I thought it was a strip at the goal line and that Nik was down by contact, but my opinion isn't the one that matters. 

It seems quite a few of the close ones went the Riders way last night. I think something shady is happening.

it's only gotten worse with PI being something you can challenge. PI is basically a judgement call a lot of the time and there is no consistency on the field or with reviews. It's making the game worse not better because it's making referees afraid to do their jobs properly. 

Slowly, but surely, I'm beginning to agree wholeheartedly with this.
Replay review is there for a reason...to get the call right. When that doesn't happen, (more times than I care to see) then what is the point? I mean what is the bloody point?
