Wpg v. Edm
I could be wrong, but I don't actually think this could happen. Like ... I don't think the results could end up in a situation where this would even be a question.

Ticats release 4
Why would we do that?

Wpg v. Edm
Both teams have been lucky (or fortunate, whatever you prefer) to win a couple of their games. Winnipeg is the only one of the two that has really put the boots to another team and I'd say the quality of their competition has been tougher as well. Mike Reilly and Drew Willy have more or less been a wash. I'd definitely give the nod to Willy so far, but it's been close. Reilly is more of a threat on the run, Willy has been a more effective passer to this point. I don't think it's going to come down to the QB so much as it's going to come down to who plays better defense and who earns better field position. Both teams have some absolute ballers in the secondary and the defensive line. Edmonton's secondary with Burnett, Grymes and Watkins matches up well and I really do think this will be a game where not having Cory Watson will hurt us. I won't be surprised to see Willy rely on JFG and Nick Moore to move the chains in the intermediate game instead of trying to stretch the field. I think this would also be a good game to get Cotton AND Grigsby involved. The big hope for me is that we contain Bowman and Stamps. Bruce Johnson and Demond Washington will have a big task ahead of them but they've done a good job to date. Bruce Johnson especially. 6 tackles in the opener as he got picked on in his debut. He hasn't been giving much up since. Teams really are picking on Bucknor a little bit so let's hope he comes to play.

I'm absolutely nailing the QB, K and DEF spots each week and can't pick any god damn skill position players to save my life.

Comparative analysis - How bad is the Bombers OL?
Yes obviously there's more to it than just sacks given up when evaluating an OL, but this gives a pretty good indication of a teams ability to protect the QB. And obviously a QB with a quick release and a mobile QB will make an OL look better too. The Bombers OL gets a lot of bad press, when in reality it's middle of the pack...other teams give up sacks too. Very true. One of our members, TBieber, has taken to timing the seconds from snap to QB release during some games this year. I wonder if he'd have the results saved to share here.

Comparative analysis - How bad is the Bombers OL?
So much more to it than just sacks. Holding penalties, QB hurries, how they're performing in the run game, etc. I'd say just based purely on watching the games, we're middle of the pack. I'm sure if you looked in depth at all the numbers, we'd grade out similarly.

Kyle Walters Greatest Challenge
Nope, not other team's fan bases. Just this team's. Typical crap from you, no matter how much you try and insulate it with football discussion.

Taveon Rogers
As per his own Twitter account, the former Cincinnati Bengals receiver has signed with the team.

Free Parking near the stadium? Does it exist?
There is. Giant Tiger lot.

Bombers Trade For Abraham Kromah
I doubt the futures are any kind of pick. More likely a neg lister.

Bombers Trade For Abraham Kromah
Because I think Dunn is a bad player who looks better because Randle is on his side of the field. Essentially, I don't think he should even be on the team... Ok. Why?

Ehlers in NHL Draft
FWIW, on my incredibly uneducated board built off reading blogs and watching some highlight videos, I had Ehlers 5th on my draft board.

Bombers Trade For Abraham Kromah
I think 2012 was his first season in the CFL and he played absolutely awesome for Saskatchewan until he broke his leg. Been a victim of numbers/ratio since then. Played 8 games, spent 28 on IR coming into this season. Most of those have been a stash though.

Drew Freakin Willy
I feel like Unamba would be a non factor if Graig Newman had two working legs right now. I like him, but he should be replaceable. He needs more time to acclimate to the CFL.

Drew Freakin Willy
I wonder if people would be more into the idea of putting Woods back on if we had lost last night.

Bombers Trade For Abraham Kromah
I'm very curious about this move. Seems like he'd be taking Kuale's spot, not Wild's. Kuale had a rough game last night, but I'm not sure what this could be about.

Areas of Improvement
Didn't he play against Calgary? I recall Peterson being terrible in both of the preseason games and Howard struggling with the second unit against the Stamps. Maybe I'm wrong, I was pretty certain he was a scratch. But the odds of me being wrong are high.

Areas of Improvement
Interesting that some of you think Howard sucked in the preseason considering he didn't play.

I don't know how much it means, but Jim Popp's last couple of tweets make it seem like Tanner Marsh is starting tonight.

LeBron James is going home
He's announced he will be returning to Cleveland. This has potential to be one of the greatest sports stories of my lifetime. If he returns to Cleveland and brings them any number of championships ... you honestly couldn't write a better script imo.

Jeffrey Bannon no longer with Bomber organization
That sucks. Didn't always see eye to eye with Jeff but he was always willing to go above and beyond to help me (and many other people) out. Jeff definitely bleeds blue and gold and he's done some very good things for the club. Best of luck to him.

Evander Kane Interview
Only in Winnipeg would a guy who scores 30 be a disappointment because he may not score 40.
