  1. Hoping they don't switch anything, I'm in LA that week and I wanted an easy way to watch the game.
  2. Did you see this: @CFL_News: By the way, the #CFL has changed their criteria from head shots being soley to the head to being above the shoulder. Thus the Willis fine. . Yeah. So I agree with the fine, I suppose, but I don't agree with people calling it a head shot.
  3. Week 2 CFL.ca Power Rankings http://cfl.ca/article/cflca-power-rankings-eskimos-enter-top-half 1. Calgary 2. Saskatchewan 3. Toronto 4. Edmonton 5. Winnipeg 6. Montreal 7. Hamilton 8. BC 9. Ottawa
  4. I still maintain that Willis didn't hit Collaros in the head.
  5. I don't know where I can disagree with these. I'd maybe have mix up the top 3 but that's all opinion at this point.
  6. Tim Cheatwood is an assistant coach for the Cleveland team. He actually came out of retirement in 2010 and played 4 years in the AFL. Wow.
  7. I thought the eastern division in the CFL was bad. Check this out. Arizona Rattlers 14-1-0 4-0-0 LA KISS 3-12-0 1-2-0 San Antonio Talons 1-14-0 0-3-0
  8. I still think Greg Carr could earn a job in this league. NeverForgetGregCarr
  9. Exactly. Federkeil makes Calgary more dangerous, gives them options with an import elsewhere.
  10. Good. Epitome of a dirty, dangerous hit.
  11. The bandwagon seems to have erupted ever since one or two people suggested he'd be worth a look. He's now MorningBigBlue.com's nominee for Most Outstanding Lineman 2014.
  12. I'll bet this will surprise a lot of folks around here: http://www.winnipegsun.com/videos/1285558160001 I'm surprised, but not for the reason you probably think.
  13. I don't mind the Debbie Downer stuff so much, it's hard to blame them for that. The other stuff though ... is it really too much to ask for a guy covering the CFL to 1) know the rules and 2) pay attention at practice
  14. I don't blame them, Coombs looks awesome. Man I hope he comes home when his first contract is up.
  15. More a "had to" than a "can do", because Thomas wouldn't be allowed to play on the OL wearing #95
  16. He changed it after Greaves got hurt. It was just a generic jersey, didn't even have a name on it.
  17. For a conditional 2015 draft pick. Interesting move.
  18. I was in support of Woods using a spot because I figured he could be a valuable member of some of our offensive packages. If he isn't going to be used that way, it may be more effective to have Cotton in there. I'm curious to see what happens with Cotton now that he's going to be healthy.
  19. Honestly, I can't see much of a change from last week other than Hamilton. Last week's rankings 1. Calgary - didn't play, hard to adjust them based on the movement of other teams 2. Saskatchewan - got squashed, but by Toronto who is likely going to be referred to as a contender who had a bad day against us. Will maybe drop one spot. 3. Hamilton - will drop big time. 4. Toronto - will likely move up one or two based on their stomping of Saskatchewan 5. BC - will swap places with Montreal 6. Montreal - will swap places with BC 7. Edmonton - still undefeated 8. Winnipeg - Edmonton is still undefeated, why would we move up much if they don't 9. Ottawa - strong effort against Winnipeg not enough This week (imo) 1. Calgary 2. Toronto 3. Saskatchewan 4. Montreal 5. BC 6. Edmonton 7. Winnipeg 8. Hamilton 9. Ottawa
  20. I don't ... I won't be surprised if he's not even the guy going forward. Too many fumble issues.
  21. Broken collarbone after a tackle from Brian Peters in the game yesterday. Shitty for Durie and the Argos. I like Durie, he's an awesome story. Gotta wonder at 32 (33 later this month) though ... could this be it? Does Coombs take his job while he's out?
