What .. the .. ****.

Bailey blew up George on that run. I love that dude.

Too interested in “making a play” instead of playing disciplined.

Special Teams are .. special .. again.

Came out of the gate firing on all cylinders I see 😂

Schmekel is a complete waste of a roster spot. If we didn't invest draft capital in him this year (ie. if we had picked him up as a free agent) he likely wouldn't be with the team any longer.

And let's be totally honest with respect to Jackson - for all his grit and versatility he's not particularly good at any one job. I like the story but if we're hanging our hats on his "blocking ability" or "defensive utility" then we are simply wasting a spot on game day that could go toward a player that can have a greater impact overall.

Jeffcoat is out and Haba is in.

Not lockstep per se but they respect the boundaries of each position and allow them to do their jobs without interference. That's the key thing that's made our turnaround possible. O'Shea's first few seasons weren't stellar and there was a lot of the typical knee jerk stuff being posted on various forums. Miller stayed the course. Walters stayed the course. They allowed coach to grow, build and develop the culture we have now. It's paid huge dividends in terms of our competitiveness and respectability as an organization. That said (and as other's have noted) O'Shea has always made a few head scratching decisions that gives us fodder to keep chewing on.

Pruned a few posts here. Keep the discussion civil and above board please.

I chose to hide a number of posts in this thread because it had all kinds of potential to go sideways (there were a couple of good replies to the original post but due to quotes etc please consider it an issue of friendly fire and me simply trying to get the conversation back to where it should be). If anyone who was impacted has an issue with it you can PM me directly.

It goes back to last year in the Grey Cup game. Zach didn’t look particularly solid there either but his play (this year) is really emblematic of the team’s performance as a whole. We simply don’t know what to expect week in week out. This edition of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers is wildly inconsistent.

It’s a Lapo offence.

The one thing you’re all forgetting is all scoring plays are automatically reviewed.

Good game by the Riders. I’m angry we lost. I’m angry because we’ve looked like this several times this year. This is what happens when you stubbornly refuse to make roster adjustments. Protection. Pressure. Special Teams. All exposed today. O’Shea is a great coach. This wasn’t a well coached game.

I take back what I said earlier .. this isn’t the BC game. It’s Ottawa.

Can’t imagine it’s the coaches.

Don’t diminish what SSK has done tonight. They punched us in the mouth and we just haven’t responded the way we should. The story of our team this year.

That was perfect coverage.

Under-thrown ball but good connection.

There’s the rugby player stepping up.

He’s been off going back to last year’s playoffs. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still the best QB in this loop but athletes can fall off a cliff quickly and Zach has some mileage on him. As an organization we’d be VERY short sighted to not have an heir apparent for that 2025 grey cup push.

Teams are actively taking him away. And .. pressure. Zach has happy feet.

Field the ******* ball Parker. Geezus. This is the reason you haven’t been on returns. Field the damn ball.

Kramdi with another wiff. He looked disinterested there.
