Probably the source of the disagreement then. I read this I like Omega but bottom line... Most casual fans have no idea who he is. with casual wrestling fan being implied. If you use the word fan, you have to be a fan of something. The next line in the quote would imply average person (The Jets are doing local winnipeg celebrities thing where they all say a thing about the whiteout. I said what about omega.. Everyone who responded said.. Who? ). So we could probably go back to the regular scheduled wrestling discussion.

Discussion was around casual wrestling fan not average person. Would be surprised if a casual wrestling fan has never heard of Jericho.

What would be your definition of a casual wrestling fan?

Would you prefer a site where I am the final arbiter of what thoughts people can post and not post on all topics? That is a line that I believe keeps moving once started, nor do I think I'm qualified for that responsibility.

If someone is insulting, people should report the post rather then insult back. All people are doing is adding to the work a mod needs to do to put a discussion on track, and frankly that is not appreciated. If you don't like how someone debates, don't engage them. If you don't think there are other people who share a certain point of view and you simply want to simply dismiss it and call it absurd and nonsense, then you aren't looking for a discussion, nor will you change anyones mind on what appears to be an important topic to you. Silencing a point of view does not make it go away. Bottom line, there really is no excuse to resort to name calling and insults.

Gentlemen, please leave the insults out of the discussion. If you can’t debate this as mature adults, you will be treated like spoiled children.

Just to expand, suspending them is standard procedure in these types of cases until a deeper investigation is complete. https://globalnews.ca/news/4135621/calgary-truck-company-suspended-humboldt-broncos-crash/

All Jets and Blackhawks together at the beginning of the game and for the anthems

I don't know entirely how accurate this is, was a chart someone put together and from 3 years ago, but would surprise me if we were not at the top or at least above average ... graph was based on Bud Light pricing so you aren't comparing different premium brands.

We are now a week away from the 2018 NHL playoffs starting. Figured the playoffs could use their own thread. For those hoping to get tickets to see the Jets, looks like the secondary market will be out in full force. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-jets-playoff-tickets-1.4604783

Rumours are it will be through Apple Music subscription. Ive said it before, I think most households will pay a monthly fee for one streaming service. Netflix has a huge advantage being first to market. Their original content better be very compelling to convince people to pay another monthly fee.

Ahhh. Thanks. I thought the transmission line to Minnesota was part of Bipole III.

To me, the fact that the Pallister appointed board walked on this speaks volumes. Hydro is bleeding money right now and they need to finish Bipole III. Pure conjecture here, but my guess would be a cost analysis was done on the cost of delays if the MMF starts protesting and stopping the project (lawsuits, setting up road blocks, disrupting construction, etc) vs. paying them the $70 million and clear the path to get to project completion. And the $70 million is cheaper. So if Pallister won't approve the $70 million, nor even meet with the board to discuss other options, that leaves the road to finishing Bipole III impossible to go down and everyone abandons ship because who wants to go down on a sinking vessel.

I call this PR Edit: To be clear, I didn't intend the PR comment to be negative thing. PR is public relations, and he is managing the relationship with the public here.
-
Questionable tactic for what? Contract negotiations? Negotiations are done, Bombers gave their best offer and were declined. His comment is more for the fans than Muamba IMO. If it was meant solely for Muamba and his agent, Walters wouldn't have said it in an interview. This is a PR move for the fanbase to let them know why we aren't signing him.

Just came across this article and found it pertinent to the discussion about how pension liabilities hurt the conservatives deficits and with the increase in interest rates will help Ottawa balance the budget (or spend more money). http://business.financialpost.com/news/economy/rising-interest-rates-could-allow-liberals-to-post-smaller-deficits-in-2019-pbo
