All of these streaming services won't survive and there will likely be some amalgamation at that point. People will pick and choose or may even alternate throughout a year to watch different shows. Netflix will be experimenting with a lower price point if you are willing to watch commercials. If that sees high adoption, look to other streaming services to follow suit. Then we'll basically be back to where we started. Paying an internet bill, paying a high cable bill (in terms of subscription services), and having to suffer through commercials. The losers in that scenario (besides the consumer) will be the cable providers like Shaw and Rogers. So also look for you internet costs to go up to make up for the revenue they lose on providing cable tv.

It would have to be a crazy high number for the Jets not to match. And he won't want it to be a long term contract to get locked into Winnipeg that long if the Jets do match. The Jets will be under cap pressure with the other signings they have to make, but the Canadians don't have a lot of cap space either.

From a union perspective, while they may not agree or like Marino, they will defend and fight for him if they are worried about a precedent being set that may impact other members down the road. Personally, I'd rather see Marino thrown out of the league. Too many clips and evidence that he plays with intent to injure. But the union's job is to protect their members (current and future)
