as mentioned...total inefficient roster....and games dressing Schmeckle...That one Oline guy..That Sask scrap heaped from us....when we could have dressed Murphy and Kelly all yr for work on teams, and just develop....games where guys didnt even need to have their damn cleats on as they didnt even get a token snap just for the sake of getting a rep.....shameful really for this coach who is supposed to be the elite of the elite...hope fully this narrative is finally put to bed an we never have to complain about it again...fingers crossed

4 currently (Nairn by Shapes, Regent by Fat Burger, KP food court & Reenders by Famous Daves) - the 5th was inside Home Depot but it's gone (google maps still shows it though).  The one on Concordia could be the 5th as it's less than 5 minutes away from the one on Reenders.

He was always pretty subpar at tackle and didn't really find success until we moved him to Guard.

CFLPA allstars are chosen by their peers. It's not a reputation vote and saying so shows your ignorance of the accomplishment. There is no media or any other entity outside the game voting on it...just the offensive players in the league get a vote on who the best defensive players are. Of all all star teams chosen in any sport this one is probably the most accurate indicator of who is making a difference.  Unless, of course, you are suggesting that the players wouldn't accurately rate their peers? Sorry, but I will trust the guys who play against Bighill all season over a biased fans perspective. You Bighill bashers are the ones who are wild. Barely passable as a starting linebacker....good grief. Offensive players around the league beg to differ.
Has he taken a step back? Yes. He no longer dominates the game the way he used to do so. Might he continue on a downward trajectory? Possibly. Something the coaches will have to keep an eye on for sure. Was he still a very good LBer last year. Absolutely, and to say otherwise is an absolute joke of an assessment. C'mon Mike seriously?

Work with 3 online and Demski and Woli as your nationals on offense...A Canadian SAM and a Canadian rotating on the DLine... Lawson is a lock...hopefully one of Mason Bennett or Kongbo can be the other guy..

Quasi-necro post here, but since it wasn't really mentioned a couple pages back.... the Koala contract might be the worst in KW's tenure here. Gave a pretty sizeable raise to a guy that is maybe the 7/8 OL on this team. They must be expecting to lose at least one piece or maybe two (Gray/Yoshi) and paid out of desperation. Either way, looks super ugly.

Regardless of who we put across from WJ this yr, if Osh continues the joke being Jackson on the roster...effectively eliminating the chance of any impact DE to get on the roster, then we will see more of the same, and games where our starters burn out, and have to take some plays off....Rotating in guys like A Bennett does nothing, and same with Thomas in the middle.
If not thru free agency...the draft, or the use of another Canadian already on the roster to assume the role of blocking back for 6 to 9 reps a game and zero threat to get the ball, let alone doing anything with it....that a viable replacement is found...then thats a fail on so many levels.
If you wanna go that route sign a big bruising "real" full back type straight outta the NCAA....Jackson at his age now, with his experience offers us absolutely nothing other than a cool story...he was horrible and out matched on defence when he got reps in garbage time, and his role on offence could be filled by literally anyone

Jeffcoat has never been healthy his entire career. He is dominant when he is. Is it time we get a more reliable, even if less talented, guy...maybe.
