This goes a lot deeper than apathy. This entire organization requires a reset. Some players & a couple of coaches need to be fired. Even if just for shock value & to send a message that mediocrity won't be tolerated. However, I think to expect something like that to happen is njust a fantasy. Osh is Osh & he's gonna keep on Oshin'. As the game went on, our DL just wilted. Linebackers were non existent. Offensively, we only have just a couple of consistent playmakers. defensively, we're a mess. Just. Not. Acceptable. That's what yoiu get when you're halfway thru the first year of a 3 year deal. No need to worry.

Nothing will change until Osh is gone. And even then, if he was fired (which he won't be) & replaced by one of his assistant coaching disciples, it'll just be more of the same. To change the culture, there has to be a clean break. Bring in a coach that has no connection to Osh. I don't expect that until the end of 2028.

I thought Osh found the truth watching film? Maybe he can't handle the truth.

I never set out to criticize you. The legal beagles here like Jesse & Noeller laughing at me can go shove it cuz chances are they don't know anymore than I did to begin with. But the good part was that I learned something new today which is a good thing in itself. You're welcome.

Repole is a joke. Instead of trying to build franchises up, he moves them around looking Mickey Mouse like in the process. maybe, the league just isn't viable but his ego won't allow for that alternative. It would be so great if the UFL just went away.

If Buck wants to rush Rourke back before he's ready then whatever happens is on him. I was reading (I believe) yesterday that there's a chance Nathan Rourke plays. That would be insanely stupid on Buck's part if he did that. Even with Rourke in there at less than a hundred percent, we'd have to be on paper the odds on favourite to win. However, football games aren't won on paper. That;s why they play the game.

Doubled down on what, asshat?? That I got a salary cap for Canadians & Globals wrong instead of a minimum salary?? All I said was that I researched & couldn't find any references to what was explained. The way the agreement is written is confusing & clear as mud, No doubt done delibertely to keep everyone in the dark. I'm not the one arguing that coaching isn't holding back the Bombers, GCn20 is. He wants to put the blame on the players while giving the coaches a pass, then he opened himself up for criticism. as he won't stop. Now, based on what was stated, I'll accept what was posted as I asked for proof of clarification. And I got it. I'm not going to argue something when I was incorrect. I actually learned something new today regarding the CBA. BTW, I have a question for you. How much did your law degree actually cost you with the discount coupons you cut out & sent in to the Subpoena Colada School of Law on the back of DC & Marvel comics?

The quote said all players. Not just Canadians. Just going by what it said. In all the research I did online, it never once said anywhere that Americans weren't subject to a cap. If you can find a reference supporting what you said then please post it here as I couldn't.

"2. CFL (Canadian Football League) • 2026 Minimum Salary: $70,000 CAD (approx. $51,000–$52,000 USD, FX-dependent) • Notes: CFL does not distinguish a separate rookie minimum — the league minimum applies to all players under contract. Summary: Roughly $70,000 CAD is the baseline salary for any player, including rookies, under the CFL collective bargaining framework." (Source: Linkedin). There is a rookie salary cap. Whether American, Global or Canadian, players are subject to this cap. The Bombers just can't sign Pavia for whatever they want. Imagine the complaints to the CFLPA if Canadians had to adhere to $70,000 Canadian salary cap yet an American like Pavia could sign for 8 times that??? That would make zero sense. The CFLPA would never negotiate such a thing.

He had scrubs playing the DE position across the line last year & also had a monster (lol) in Jake Thomas playing beside him in a 3 man front. He has Ceresna now & the DL is much better therefore freeing him up.

I thought I was eliminated but I see I have one more life. Alrighty then, Samuel Emilus

I never knew Walters was a blind man. I guess he & Osh are so buddy buddy that he can't see the problems for himself.

What Osh is really saying.

I would say the Bombers are desperate after having dropped a 50 plus nothing burger on defense & Brown's 4 interceptions.

You don't get it. Who cares if they were "brought in"? The point is, they elevated a shitty Canadian receiver who should spend all of his time playing Specials Teams. This all comes down to bad asset Allocation when it comes to personnel thanks to Osh. Cobb didn't deserve the starting role while Walters let Wheatfall walk. They never replaced him. We draft & also develop for other teams.

Has Tommy heard of a stalk block? Wide receivers are historically bad blockers. because they're in space & angles are constantly changing just getting in the way is just what they do. Name me one wideout who made a million dollars leading the league putting linebackers & DB's on their ass downfield. They'll throw the odd great block if they're in a position to do that. I know Bailey, Adams & Woli were the exceptions. But that was a special group.

How is letting Wheatfall sign in Hamilton & brin ging in Cobbas a third canadian receiver an upgrade?

No, don't agree. It's just pointing out how bad our receiving corps is as a group. And was last year. They needed to do more signibng one more impact Canadian receiver if they wanted to go with 3 yet stopped halfway thru. After day 1 of FA the signings stopped. We had a strong first day & that was it.

I cry when I see the alternative. Osh wanted 3 Canadians then go out & sign a difference maker as a free agent. Cobb was gifted his position. Who'd he beat out, Corcoran?

So, we should be 5-3 after this game & all will be right with the world again for another week. But if we don't win....

That's not a reason to keep holding an organization back like it has. While it hasn't been a total collapse (yet), it is a death by a thousand cuts. You don't have to see a jet airliner crash to know that it will once it runs out of fuel.

Money talks. I'm sure the chance for Couture to play on the worst team in the CFL the past decade was really something he wanted to do. Walters wouldn't pay up. Dobson left. Even the human pylon Sukh Chung walked out. There is a problem retaining Canadian OL. There's been for years. Draft & develop for other teams.

Osh cooked Schoen for good. He should start planning on shopping for a knee replacement in another decade or so when he gets into his 40's. Playing him with a torn ACL made sure of that.
