I don't agree with this. You have no idea how an illegal contact downfield could have affected a receivers route and affected the decision the QB was making. The rule is in place for a reason. And, if they do have someone looking for it, good for them. We probably do too.

Perhaps there is some Stockholm syndrome thing happening and we can fleece the Sabres once again. If I were Buffalo, I wouldn't answer any phone call with a 204 prefix.

That's recency bias. Sask has been a sustained gongshow going all season long. That trumps the current drama in Montreal. I'm sure we can trust Jones to 'up his game' in the next few weeks to take the headlines once again.

I disagree. The Banjo Bowl is my favorite game of the year because of the banter back and forth. My mother is a lifelong Rider fan and it's the only game she attends each year. It's fun. (It's a lot more fun when the Bombers win)

He's there right now. Doesn't need to be HC to be effective. Obviously, he can't control them either.

Glenn's comment may have had to do with being benched. Maybe when he signed his incentive laden contract, Popp promised him that, if he was the best choice, he would be the starter. Maybe he still thinks he is.

My two cents... I was a big Willy believer until this year. He looked uncertain and unable to make plays. Yes, he did not play behind our best o-line combination but I'm not convinced it would have made a big difference. I'm a real believer in the idea that as one area improves, it improves the other areas. I think Nicholls has had a positive impact on the performance of the o-line and the better the offense has played, the defense has been even better. That said, I will miss Willy-peg but still believe this is the best move for both sides.

Actually, they may want to shine up the tractors during the other nine games. Didn't think of that.

My 6-year old boy just predicted that Medlock will hit a 60 yard field goal to win the game by one. Heck of prediction.

Riders only win was against a third string quarterback. We have several players that feel a personal connection to the Riders and would like nothing more than to show up Jones. We're on a roll, dominating on defense and special teams. We'll win by 20. (And predicting that we'll win has no impact on the outcome of the game)

And he blocks/hits downfield. He's a gamer.
